We stayed here for Bucknell's parents weekend and were delighted with the hospitality. The inn keepers were wonderful and so friendly. The inn is a beautiful Victorian home - spotless, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was great both mornings - on Sunday they served baked...More

This is Don from Harmony Pa (north of Pitts) Sorry I can't be of any help re: your question but we've never stayed in Pitts and are unfamiliar with availability or costs. If I were staying in Pitts I wouldn't stay right in downtown Pitts I'd stay up North in Cranberry Twp (intersection of I 79 & Pa turnpike) where there are good Hotels, National chains, which I would suspect are cheaper and would have more rooms available at graduation time. Driving time from this area is about 45 min to Oakland and is direct on interstates right through downtown Pitts. As for your Mom's Grandfather and the Inn of New Berlin I can only say he was a super builder. Best to you!
