What a beautiful farm/B&B! Beautifully landscaped, tastefully decorated, with the charming earthiness of a working farm combined with the perfection of a well run B&B. Great breakfasts, and wonderful hosts Jody and Jay, and farmer Bob. From the adorable kittens to the farm chores and hayrides to the sense of community established from the hosts to the fellow guests, this...

Thank you for your kind words! It was so sweet to see your family enjoying a book on the porch and getting pictures of the amazing sunset. We hope that you will stay with us on the farm again.

Gave this trip to our 12 yo granddaughter as trip with us as celebration of her birthday. It was the perfect weekend for our animal loving g'daughter. We added a night at Sight and Sound's production of Joseph to top off the animal experience. Hosts were gracious, food was great as were the accommodations. Highly recommended (tho leave us a...

I have two children (3 and 7) and was looking for a farm to visit with them. Country Log House farm was perfect. The farm was exactly what I was looking for: simple, clean, not to big, not commercial. There are 3 rooms available which made for a personalized visit. We stayed 2 nights and had different families staying each...

This was our families first time in PA and at a farmstay which we stayed at for two nights and I think we started a new tradition. From what seems like a 10 course home cooked breakfast (loved the baked blackberry oatmeal) to the beautiful farm and surrounding area this was definitely one of our highlights of our two week...

We brought our children and grandchildren here for a weekend to celebrate a family event and we cannot imagine having made a better choice. Our hosts, Jay and Jodi (who took over from Jodi's parents), were extremely gracious and went out of their way to help make this a special occasion. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, the kids loved helping...

Our family of five has stayed here four times, and loved it each time. The setting is stunning, with corn fields and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. The place itself is immaculate, inside and out--even the barns! The owners, Mim and Jim, could not be nicer. Mim makes a delicious breakfast every morning with about 10...

I want to echo all the other favorable reviews here. The setting was peaceful, the room comfortable, the rates reasonable. Mim (and a neighbor who helped her) prepared phenomenal breakfasts, and Jim was so welcoming and was always available for a chat. We enjoyed walking through the corn field, sitting on the porch, petting the animals, eating at local restaurants....

We lucked out & got in last minute due to a cancelation. Mr Jim & his wife went out of their way to make us feel welcome & give our kids a taste of farm life! We fed the sheep & goats, gathered eggs from the chicken coup, played with the outdoor cats & kittens & went on a hay...

This is a must stay in Pennsylvania. You will not find kinder hosts. Jim and Mim are wonderful people that truly love what they do. Mim cooks up just about the most amazing spread if food that I gave ever had at a B&B. She even makes her own jelly. The fresh eggs from their chickens are too good to...

“One piece of advice about your room selection - we stayed in the Loft Room, which is right above the kitchen, so we were awakened before 7 by food prep noise. It was a very small price to pay for the delicious, full breakfast served an hour later, but if you're a light sleeper, you should keep that in mind.”
