We had such a nice time at Jackie’s. Such a cozy and lovely house they have. The rooms were so clean and the full Irish breakfast the next morning was amazing! We got there super late and we had a little birthday celebration for our friend at midnight. Jackie was so nice, brining us wine glasses and plates for our food and cake. We were all very pleased with our stay. I’m definitely going back again.
My friends and I we didn't have a booking, and Jackie receive us so friendly! She give some tips about what to do in the region, and the breakfast was a delicious meal! There are two lovely dogs at the property! We spent some time enjoy the fireplace and the view to the landscape is breathtaking!
Wonderful B&B! What a delightful and comfortable place to stay. Jackie is a great host, so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast with a lovely view was delicious! Spacious and very clean rooms! We would definitely go back.
A beautiful home and a gorgeous welcome for us. Jackie made us tea immediately on arrival and left us to relax by the roaring fire. Divine bed and a delicious and hearty breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend to all!
We where looking for a night throughout our trip trough Ireland and came across this accommodation. It is in a beautiful location with a great host. The room had a good sice with an on-suite bathroom. Everything was well clean. Our host prepared a great breakfast with freshly backed bread. In the morning we had a great chat with our host. We would definitely come again.
I stayed one night at Jackie’s bed and breakfast. She is a really good and enjoyable host, really committed in making sure that guests have everything that they need. The house gives guests a very cozy feeling, especially the living room with the fire and a steaming cup of tea. I felt home and welcome. Definitely suggested!
Beautiful B&B in the irish countryside (from our room we could see cows and donkeys!) but close to the sea. We were greeted by the owner with a great cake and good coffee. Breakfast is very good (the best of our trip).
We arrived at Lissadrone and were met by Jackie, our hostess. She was very friendly, showed us to our rooms and then produced tea and cakes in the comfortable lounge. She provided loads of local information and recommended a place to eat in Killala. On our return she lit a fire and gave us more tea and great chat. Next morning, after a great nights sleep, she produced a wonderful breakfast, homemade soda bread, lashings of tea and a great fry. It is a little difficult to find if you are coming from Ballycastle, but persevere, it is worth it.
It's a charming place and Jacky & Brian are really welcoming. They have very tidy house and will make you willing to stay longer. So pleasant beds! and even better than us were the kids who have adored their dogs and kitten, and further more Brian took them to feed the calves. Jacky tooked care of our breakfast and comfort at all time. A especial place with very nice people. Nearby you can find the stunning views of Down Patrick's Head. Would recommend it to anyone.
We had a wonderful experience at Lissadrone B&B. The countryside is some of the most beautiful we have ever seen, and the hospitality given to us by Jackie was incredible. The accommodations were comfortable and it gave us the opportunity to experience Irish countryside living! The views when we woke up in the morning with the sun rising over the hills was incredible! We had a full Irish breakfast in the morning in the sunshine as we watched it rise over the bay. Meeting the pet dogs and a baby lamb as we were leaving were the icing on the cake! Highly recommend!
