When picking a wedding venue, we met with the owners Steve and Licia who gave us a tour of the Tidal Bore Rafting Resort and discussed the costs of the venue. We loved the property and the cabins and felt it was perfect for our big day. We told them the next day that we wanted to have our wedding...

Perfect size for a couple; hnt tub is excellent feature with lots of privacy. Lots of early year maintenance uncovered on a March stay but owners were willing to address. Biggest complaint would be the bed - hard as a rock and linens were not very nice; holes in them and not comfy. As a couple cabin; I expected a...

Spent the past weekend, along with 13 others, in the largest log cabin. It was great- lots of room, five bedrooms, I've lost count of the number of bathrooms, large living space with lots of comfy seating and a kitchen with all the dishes and cooking equipment you could ever want. We BBQed on one of the decks Saturday for...

I've been a loyal client of this amazing resort since 2009 and have held a private event there every summer for 100 - 150 attendees. While the resort was great during the years of 2009 to 2014 under the old ownership, I must say that our event in July 2016 went above and beyond any of our expectations, and that...

We spent a very enjoyable Family Christmas at the Tidal Bore Rafting Resort. The spacious 5 bedroom cabin had loads of room to accommodate a party of 12 (with all of the cots on hand we probably could have been 20!), with places to come together and places to drift apart when needed. We arrived to a clean cabin, nicely...

My stay at Tidal Bore Rafting cottages was not flawless but not terrible. The biggest concern was the hygienic situation in the chalet. The rug in the living room had not been vacuumed, nearly every window sill had a large amount dead house flies collected on / around it. Cob webs could be seen in every room of the chalet....

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback. We appreciate it and use all guest comments to make the resort better. The unit (a Russian pine chalet) was swept for all flies the day of your arrival (which illustrates how fast they come back in a log home, particularly when the unit is warmed up) and...

I stayed here for two nights with my parents, husband and our two small children. Although the property has lots of potential, we were very disappointed with the management. Despite the stated senior rate online, they refused to offer this to my parents. Our towels were dirty and when we requested new ones, they never arrived. We had to actually...

What an awesome experience! The family loved it! Such a unique way to experience and view the tidal bore. Not like river rafting, where as you hold on as a similar kind of boat but with a motor does laps through a variety of waves created from the advancing of the tidal bore, river current and sand bars. From what...

What a blast. Wilson was our guide and we had the pleasure of his mother and aunt being on the trip with us. They were a hoot. We didn't expect this much fun. We did the two hour trip and I am glad we didn't take the four hour trip. Our hands and arms were tired from holding on. Wilson...
