Trust me, this was a horrible hotel experience. Rooms filthy and smelled musty.. carpet was filthy, full of dark red stains,, couch was stained,, couch mattress was blood stained and missing linens, bathroom light fixture was broken and completely missing in bathroom ceiling wall,, there was broken glass scattered on bathroom floor,, breakfast only consisted of pre packaged small muffins, bagels, granola bars and cereal and juice machine was out of order. There was no housekeeping! Front desk did not inform me of this during so I was literally stunted the next day when I returned from the park and didn't see our beds made up and no fresh towels or linens. I had to gather my own trash and put it out for pick-up. The pool was still closed but yet Sesame Place across the way had their pool opened during covid. Front staff blaming covid isn't an excuse for the filth and the miscommunication. This hotel definitely needs a deep cleaning in the rooms, carpet and couch beds replaced and serve hot breakfast. I was so disappointed that I left a night early. I was promised a refund for the night I didn't stay. I'm currently awaiting a response. I escalated the matter to Marriott corporate office.

This hotel seems very understaffed and struggling to maintain the hospitality standards of a Marriott property. No housekeeping is provided. Breakfast is a joke…nothing hot. Bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, and oranges. No plates were offered…bonus today…they had napkins! This property is close to the Sesame Street amusement park…expect lots of loud kids and loud parents. When I returned to the hotel yesterday there were many trash bags piled up in the hall. Parking…$15 per day…what a rip off…it’s a Springhill not a full service hotel. Hotel is nice…but I don’t plan to return…there is a Sheraton a block away.

Very overpriced. $245 a night for an outdated, musty hotel room with no housekeeping, no pool, and a very limited grab and go breakfast menu. We stayed at this location back in 2017 and unfortunately a lot has changed. Staff was nice enough but obviously spread way too thin. Such a shame to put employees in situations like this, fully knowing they have very limited capacity to be hospitable. We had to go to the front desk 3 times over the course of a few hours to even get enough clean bath towels for the evening. There wasn’t even daily garbage service. The front desk provided us with extra trash bags for us to use when we asked for garbage service. We were also never notified that the pool was closed when booking this hotel room. The website still advertises a pool. This completely threw off our evening plans with our children. We would have absolutely booked a different hotel had we known the pool wouldn’t be open. This whole situation feels a lot like the hotel chain is taking advantage of the customer. I am paying more than previous years and getting a whole lot less and not even finding out about it until we are here. We won’t be back to this location or a Marriott location (owner of Springhill Suites) for that matter.

I stayed for 3 nights Memorial Day weekend with my husband and 16 month old daughter. We had planned a trip to Sesame Place. Some of the negative reviews had me nervous, since we were driving 5 hours to get there... but I kept high hopes and an open mind. I'm so happy to say that everything was GREAT! The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was BIG and had enough towels for us. The bed was soft and super comfy! It's literally a 1 minute walk on a cute path to Sesame Place!!! Sooo convenient! I'm not sure what others seem to be complaining about. This is a hotel overrun by babies, toddlers and kids 24/7!!! Could some things be out of place? Or slight stains on something? Sure! You could stay further away from Sesame Place if you're looking for a luxury 5 star experience. But we were looking for a cozy, convenient, family hotel...and that's exactly what we got! We don't spend hours nit picking everything.. we use our hotel room to sleep and get ready, then we are out the door! We plan to go back in a couple months, since most of our weekend was rain and we will stay here again! Elizabeth is the General Manager and she is very welcoming and accommodating. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful! Couldn't ask for more!

The hotel is close to Sesame Place and this was the main reason we chose this hotel. My husband and I took the grand babies and again we couldn't beat the location to the park The rooms are a good size and they were clean. Loved the room. However, I also brought my own cleaning supplies as a precaution. I have absolutely NO issue with the hotel. It is VERY nice. The issue I had was I attempted to check in early and was told I had to wait until 4:0pm regular time. Ok, fine. I then ask NOT to be placed by the elevator or vending area. I was told ok. I followed up using the hotel's chat system and they also confirmed my request (see picture). However, upon check in, I found out that the one thing I didn't want was the thing I got ....A ROOM BY THE ELEVATOR. I immediately turned around without going into the room and went back to the front desk in an attempt to switch my room. I just saw where it was located and turned around. I was told by the front desk rep, Heather that rooms are assigned the night before and she was unable to switch my room because they were sold out. This was around 4:30ish and check in was at 4:00 BUT they acknowledged and confirmed my request at 2:00pm meaning they had 2 hours to accommodate my request AFTER acknowledging it. I was the only one in the lobby so my room could have been switched for individuals who hadn't arrived. I then ask, out of the sold out rooms were there any individuals who had room preference request because if not, then those individuals would not mind a room change. I had a room preference, so I did mine. I was then told by Heather again, she still was unable to switch my room. So I'm thinking...unable or unwilling. She did state she would keep me abreast of any cancellations or if someone ask to be moved later....really. I have to wait for someone ELSE to request a room change like I was trying to do and denied. Needless to say, I never heard back from Heather at all with any status (good or bad) What a miserable night. Just like I was trying to avoid, being by the elevator, I heard every loud conversation, every loud noise and every time someone had to run and catch the elevator, it felt like they were just stomping at my door. It was not a peaceful night rest. We were miserable. I still have my confirmation "chat" confirming my "no elevator room" that was not honored. It just means that the hotel over promised and under delivered. It would have been more acceptable for the response to have been "we will do our best" or something similar". It would have been nice to have known my request wasn't going to be honored prior to be finding out and being in shocked. They had 2 hours advance notice The hotel is nice and I was pleased with the room. I just wasn't pleased with my room location and how it was handled. This could have been avoided. Thanks Heather for a miserable time
