Walnut Lawn is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It is a very charming, clean well appointed inn. Beth Holloway is the innkeeper and she is such a caring and warm person. She is always willing to help you in any way she can. You really feel at home. Her breakfasts are amazingly delicious and elegant. Our... More

We stayed at Walnut Lawn B&B for two nights. The hostess, Beth, was an amazing person, and we enjoyed chatting with her. The house was so lovely, and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely come back again!

We needed a last minute place to stay near Strasburg. After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, we called, and ended up staying in the Quilt Room (it has a really nice balcony). We concur with all the highly favorable reviews that we read on Tripadvisor. The rooms were immaculate, well maintained, and had turn of the century charm. Much of the... More

Beth was a great hostess, made us feel right at home from the time we made the reservation through telling us come back back for another visit. Food was great, the home was more than the pictures show, and the information/recommendations were right on target for what we were looking to do in the area. We loved our room. Thanks... More

My heart is a part of Walnut Lawn. I really feel at home here at Walnut Lawn. Maybe part of it is Beth. Her welcoming cheery self! The three course breakfast she cooks up in the morning or the way she takes time to help guests to anything they need in rooms or where to visit. Beth is always a... More

Beth was a fantastic hostess. Not only was the room beautiful (we stayed in The Quilt Room), but the 3-course breakfasts each morning was *so good* and filling that we hardly needed anything between lunch and dinner. She was also able to point us in the right direction for things to do and where to go in the area. The... More

Beth could not have been a better hostess. We arrived (6 Adults) at around 5:00 pm and Beth was able to give us a great recommendation for dinner. The rooms were very clean and perfectly decorated. We were able to enjoy the screened in gazebo at night for visiting with family and enjoying the beautiful night. The three course breakfast... More

We only came a few miles, but felt far away from the hustle and bustle of our regular life. The room was great, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the sheets were fabulous. It is obvious that Beth puts a lot of love and care into her amazing B&B. We enjoyed her company at breakfast and the food, of course,... More

We were running a little late, but Beth met us at the door and said she was worried and was about to call us. A clean, quaint, and charming house and room in which to spend the night. Her breakfast was excellent (seconds on orange juice hit me where I live) and the conversation with the other guest was stimulating... More
