Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The staff was very helpful and resolved an issue with a third party company who dropped the ball with the booking. I am grateful that the Lancaster Arts Hotel staff were able to help me in a time of need and provide great service throughout our stay.

Stayed one night during a child’s sporting event. Everything was nice and clean. Only recommendation was to add more options to breakfast. Pretty basic. Would recommend this hotel to others. Free covered parking was nice. Location was great.

I’ve come here before and it was ok! I figured I would give it another chance since I’m kind of local, it’s worse than before I rented a suite Friday 1/26/24 so my boyfriend and I can have a little getaway from the kids for a night. Let me just start by saying the first thing I noticed was a stale smell a mix of mold and I don’t know what. There were stains on the carpet the jacuzzi was dirty I will post pictures the wine glasses in the closet had wine stuck to the bottom of the glass so obviously they hadn’t been clean in a while . And here’s the kicker the toilet still had pee and toilet paper in it , the coasters in the bathroom were old and wet the shower had mold going up the shower walls . So much dust all around the room especially the blinds and window sill I’m so

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly value input from all our guests and appreciate the opportunity to address any concerns you may have. However, upon reviewing your comments, we noticed some details that are not typical of our hotel, and we wanted to investigate further to make sure the next guest has an exceptional stay. We would like to look up your reservation so we could associate it with a room number to address the issues in your assigned room. We take all feedback seriously, but it's important to ensure that it comes from a genuine guest experience. Please contact me at elizabeth@gpim.net with the name on your reservation or confirmation number, and provide me with any other details for me to follow up on your stay and over-all experience. We value constructive criticism and would like to address the concerns you may have had during your time with us. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. I look forward to hearing from you.

I was so excited about this place . My hopes were quickly deteriorated when we arrived the front desk lady was eating ( unprofessional ) a sandwich we waited for her to take a bite and a sip of her drink to actually greet us for check in ( once again how rude ) when she finally gave us the keys for our room the room was freezing cold we put the heat up and waited a good hour before going down and telling her the room conditions, with an attitude she said well I don’t know what to tell you that’s the only club room I have available ( wow ) I also told her the water was scorching hot she then shrugged her shoulders at me and said very conditionally sorry but nothing I can do about it you can talk to a manager at checkout no one is here now. I’ve never been so upset in my entire

We decided to stay here between Christmas and New Year. This is more like a staycation for us since it is only about 30mins away from home. We enjoy spending time in Lancaster area and we decided to stay over for a night after spending time in downtown Lancaster. The hotel is located on the edge of downtown Lancaster area. While you can walk there from downtown, at night time, we decided to drive that distance from downtown to Lancaster. When we got there, the parking was quite full. Didn't realize that they have 2nd floor parking, but it seems like it was really tight space to get up to the 2nd floor parking. But no issue overall. Check-in was fine, no issue and nothing out of the ordinary. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Along the hallway, there were some arts hanging with

We've stayed in a few different hotels in Lancaster, but we keep coming back to Lancaster Arts Hotel! It's our favorite hotel of all time. It's only 45 minutes from home, but makes us feel like we had a mini-vacation!! Everything is consistently outstanding!

Recently stayed 5 nights at the hotel over the holidays. The positives include a great location to downtown, wonderful staff, comfortable beds and a good value. The downsides include loud traffic noise from the roads and an overall look of the rooms and hallways needing to be refreshed. If you book call the hotel and find a room that has reduced traffic noise. Ours was pretty bad.

A beautiful and clean room with a friendly staff! Fortunately I was basically just there to sleep but a friend had recommended this place and it was very nice! Love the artsy vibes and encouragement of sketching. my room was right next to the elevator though and it was extremely noisy as people got on and off the elevator. Luckily this did die down by the time it went to bed.

We liked the location and aesthetics, but I don't think we'll be back because of how incredibly firm the bed was. I travel 10 weeks a year for work and I think this might have been the most uncomfortable bed I've ever experienced (I'm 30). The breakfast was also subpar if that's something you care about. I think our room was over the bar too, which seemed to be open all night because I was hearing laughter at 2-3am when I would wake up from a sore back!
