Everything is terrible from staff attitude to cleanliness of rooms to quality of food , Also front desk add charges to you either purposely or they can’t do simple math it took me 45 min to check out Insane
Family stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn when our son got married at Stoner Commons. Hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Was very pleased with our stay. The hotel provided bagged breakfast during our stay.
bathrooms on the small side. Small lobby. Nice pool area. Hallways are not attractive. Beds were relatively comfortable. Front desk was not very friendly. Location was good. Windows were thin which made it a little Noisy from the highway
If I could give this review 10 - stars I would and if I ever have to travel to Lancaster again I'll be staying here again. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but it will be undergoing renovations soon. Our room was extremely clean...I'm not a person who ever steps on the floor of a hotel in bare feet, but I did here. The beds were comfy, the room didn't have any bad smells (I've been at other hotels recently that just smelled awful), and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the area the hotel was located in is a very safe area, and was about 10 minutes away from everything we had to do. I highly recommend this place! We were in room 253.
This hotel has a unique arrangement. It only has two floors, is mostly rectangular, and the inside rooms either face the main courtyard, another small courtyard, or the lobby area. First-floor inside rooms have a sliding-glass door, and corner second-floor rooms have a balcony. So, it has enormous potential. The problem is that the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Our room had cracked grout in the bathroom (which was very small). The toilet (kids height!) had a loose seat and must have been leaking water from the tank, since the tank filled up periodically when not in use. The furniture is old, the carpet is old, etc. We stayed here on this trip because it was the least expensive of the Homewood (across the street) or the Home2 Suites (very new) on a weekend when everything was sold out. Of the three Hilton properties in the area (near our grandchildren), I rate this third and the Home2 Suites first.…
All of the staff were pleasant and helpful, except Mark Flanagan. Mark was unaccommodating, dismissive and inflammatory. He showed preference to groups based on color and showed poor customer service.
The hotel did not live up to its name. Upon entering the lobby there is musty smell. I have a cardiac condition and was shown the elevator way down the hall. Upon getting off on the second floor I had to walk about a city block with my bag to find my room. My was carrying most of the bags thank goodness.
I don’t mind when things are slightly amiss when I arrive at a name brand hotel establishment that has to compete with very similar other name brand hotel establishments like the courtyard Marriott or holiday inn. So I don’t mind that when I arrive for my stay to my hotel room there were two empty rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. I can call the front desk and ask for a roll of toilet paper. No big deal. But what really grinds my gears is when I ask for something simple like 3 empty wine glasses from the lobby bar so I can enjoy a bottle of wine that in brought from home in my room with my friends and get refused. My group of family and friends rented two hotel rooms during this two night stay. We were refused the 3 glasses of wine from the female bartender on the evening of Saturday, December 4th. This is disappointing especially for such a small request that other hotel chains like the courtyards and holiday inns in the Lancaster area have been happy to fulfill during my previous trips to Lancaster. My friends and I will not be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Lancaster location for any of our multiple seasonal trips to the Lancaster area in the future.…
I was disappointed no breakfast was included with the stay. Price was much higher than the quality of the property especially with no breakfast included. I don’t think they advertised this properly. Definitely not worth the price.
I was charged more than I was told and when I called I spoke with Heather who wasn’t helpful at all with any of my issues. I’m very disappointed at the way this hotel is ran by the management. The breakfast wasn’t up to par with other Hilton garden inn.
