We went with a group of about 50 people. Rooms were adequate but a little tired looking. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room overlooked the pool and bistro area where there was music playing I was a bit concerned that it would be noisy but it wasn't. Had no problem sleeping. Breakfast and Dinner were very good.

I stayed here so I didn't have to drive home after walking up to Kosciusko. I'd done it before and thought it would be nice to chill in Thredbo for the night. I got the hotel room at a good price. Everything is perfectly ok if it meets your expectations. I can imagine the dated decor may not be to...

Stayed the weekend for a Wedding in a king room with a bed and breakfast package. Adequate size for what we wanted, decor a little dated, but neat and clean. Nice king size bed. At check-in we were given our room key and carried our bags to 3rd floor up the steps. We did find out later that we could...

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Rooms good for mountain village standard. Well-maintained and the staff were all most helpful.. Excellent breakfast but at least in summer the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday,,and the bar is not open, with a sign referring you to the adjacent pub. Excellently located in the centre of the village, with all facilities...

My wife and I chose the Threadbo Alpine Hotel for it's handy position near the Kosciuszko Express chairlift and good value room prices. We were expecting a dated, typical summer ski hotel standard but we're very pleased with the choice. We had breakfast included in our room price which was booked through a well known hotel booking site and the...

Using our Groupon voucher we spent 3 full days of activities here. Opposite the main chairlifts, it was a 2 minute walk and we were riding high into the mountains. The first room we were given on the ground floor had a musty smell so we were given a room with similar view on the 3rd floor. Comfortable, old fashioned...

In summer we had a lovely break in this hotel. Very dated and in need of refresh. In saying that I couldn't fault anything. All comfortable and staff very good. Would never pay the rack rate though. Look for deals in summer.

Our two night summer stay here was a Luxury Escapes special deal so I can't really comment on pricing. The hotel purports to be four star quality (self rated). It's comfortable and well maintained and the staff were pleasant, helpful and responsive. Our room, a King Double, similarly was comfortable, and quite well furnished, albeit a bit crowded because of...

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way from Sydney to Orbost in Victoria. We had a terrace room looking up to the mountains, all excellent. We stayed for three nights and had a pleasant stay but the place really needs a update. The tartan and wood which did give a mountain lodge feel also made the place look very dated.
