Nice roast chicken. Was the Sunday special. Good price including a beer 25$. Nice atmosphere , relaxed. After dinner you can play pool or darts and there is sports on the screens. Good choice of beers and wines

On a wandering road trip to avoid excavation work at home. Popped in to the Alpine Hotel, one of my all time favourite places. First, the reasons why I like the the joint: location, location, location high in the Snowy Mountains; crisp cool air; fabulous ambience; all rooms have a view of the ski slopes; long mountain walks nearby; pleasant...

My wife and I are travel agents in Brisbane and have stayed at 261 hotels / resorts, in 113 cities, in 42 countries. So I feel we know the difference between a good and not so good hotel. Only stayed for two nights, and one full day. So not really long enough to give a really comprehensive report. This will...

This hotel is in one of the best locations in Threadbo village - easy to access chair lift, bobsled run, mountain bikes, golf and hiking trails. The hotel though is looking quite tired and could do with a decent refurbishment. We had a balcony room looking up the mountain so that was great fun, but whilst rooms are small, the...

Great central location, Very friendly, helpful staff. Great value with breakfast included in deal. But property could do with a makeover looking dated and tired it was also a pity there was only one bar open.

Perfect location close to chair lift and cbd, parking, storage area for mtb, foyer lounge area was really nice with a good view grand piano and bar, room was nice and clean, older styling but suited the scene, kitchenette could of been better with a toaster or microwave.

This hotel is so run down its almost a joke. The building has a perfect location, right in the center of the village, directly across from the ski lift and this is clearly a case of location, location, location. The lodge itself has charm and plenty of personality but the decor is so shabby, with the cheapest possible fixtures and...

Amazingly helpful staff - particularly Nicole who couldn't do enough to make my stay as memorable as it was. All of the staff were friendly and keen to help in any way. Room was very small and a tad dated and an exhaust fan in the bathroom would have prevented the sauna-like conditions experienced.
