To echo other reviews, the location was the best feature. It is a very short walk to the Perisher Center, which has the rental shop and ski school/DiscoveryCenter for kids. For small kids and dealing with snow gear etc., this was key for us.

It's six hours drive from sydney. You could hire a car or catch a bus to Jindabyne then get the ski tube up to Perisher. You can fly to Canberra or Cooma and get a bus to the ski tube. The ski tube takes you to Perisher then... More
It's six hours drive from sydney. You could hire a car or catch a bus to Jindabyne then get the ski tube up to Perisher. You can fly to Canberra or Cooma and get a bus to the ski tube. The ski tube takes you to Perisher then you just walk across to the manor. Have a fun holiday.
