Our family stayed here on a trip from Sydney to Melbourne and given the great reviews we had seen were really looking forward to our stay. Sadly, we were somewhat disappointed on seeing our room. The room was clean but tired (and it even smelt tired). You can see they have tried to freshen it up, but it simply doesn't...

We had a second storey room with great views from the balcony out across the break water, perfect spot to watch the sunset and the boats coming back and forth over the spit! The room was clean although some things are starting to get a little worn, at least the tariff hadn't increased since our last visit and that is...

Stayed several nights. Restaurant is very good based on one evening meal - regarded highly by the town. We had a two bedroom superior room on tne ground floor which includes abasic kitchenette. Perfect for a simp!e breakfast or heating takeaway in the serviceable but borderline antique microwave . Beds OK but not great. On the high side of town...

A special place to escape to in beautiful Narooma. We have stayed a few times now, and have always been really impressed with the comfortable and sparkling clean rooms and friendly owners. We love the fresh, seasonal approach to presenting local food in the restaurant, and have enjoyed some exceptional dinners here. Wish I could visit more often!

This is a centrally situated motel in Narooma with fabulous views of the ocean. It also, apparently, has one of the best regarded restaurants in Narooma - sadly closed on a Monday night. I guess a chef has to have a day off! The other particular advantage of this motel is that it is dog-friendly and has special rooms that...

Each time when we are in Narooma we visit the Whale Restaurant. The owners are very hospitable and the food is just sumptuous. This place has BYO but there is a cork charge. Still the atmosphere is very cosy especially in a cold winters night. The restaurant takes reservations. I do look forward to visit the 'Whales' again. hOwever, this...

I have stayed at The Whale Motor Inn 13 times in the last 12 months. Everytime I stay I am as surprised and impressed as I was the first time. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. All have that magnificent view, and the pool area is stunning. The owners Jen and Matt, and their team are...

Found this motel clean, room not overly large but we were comfortable. Sliding door to outside paving with table and chairs was a nice spot to sit and have a coffee, view was over the pool with the coast in the distance. Toaster in room as well as a much appreciated coffee machine. Parking available but spaces are very tight....

Go for the best rooms, more of an apartment, very clean, roomy, well equipped. Not the cheapest but go for it you will not be disappointed. The views across the swimming pool and the bat are the best views in town
