Fantastic place to camp and kids had a ball. Unfortunately Mount Warning national park closed but as only there two nights was plenty to do with the river running right next to the campsite. Now the toilet blocks could be cleaned a bit more and management a bit casual however this just adds to the charm and you get a...

Very beautiful rainforest setting. Family friendly and peaceful. River running right next to the camp ground. We stayed in cabin 5B. The cabin interior is reasonably well-appointed with a few signs of aging. We however found these to be insignificant compared to the value and the overall environment of the park. I did find the lack of supplied toiletries an...

What a beautiful park! We camped at the edge of the pristine running creek! Heavily treed with lush lawns, the park features adequate amenities which are old but well kept...no worries getting a hot shower here. On site managers are very friendly and there is a small shop stocked with the basics. It is only two weeks since the massive...

Stayed in a riverside cabin for 4 nights. Very old and tatty interior. Looks liks cupboard units hve been under water at some stage. First thing that greeted us was dead cockroaches on the floor. Ceiling fans are filthy and the whole place a bit grubby. If the cost was halved this might be acceptable but not good value at...

An easy hour drive from the Gold Coast we left at 1.30 am . We set a decent pace and made it to the top in an hour and a half. I found the start a bit hard dealing with steps but found my lungs after about 10 minutes. There is plenty of spots to stop along the way providing...

Stayed in Cabin 6 which fronts onto a pretty stream. Cabin was quite small for 4 Adults even though it sleeps 5. Nice and Clean, kitchen equipped well. No Wifi or Mobile coverage which did not upset us in the least. Awesome swimming pool and plenty to do. Reception seemed a little unorganised on arrival but a friendly check in....

Stayed here two nights. Amenities were fine. Free hot water. Creek is lovely for cooling off but also has onsite pool. Up the road 4kms is car park for Mt Warning walk. There are powered and unpowered sites and a large camp kitchen. Slightly expensive for 2 nights for two people $60, but still enjoyed stay.

Best time to climb the mountain...defiantly in the morning. My partner and I started our climb at 03:30 in the dark and made it to the top just on 5am to see the sunrise. Absolutely amazing. On the way down as the sun was out and the tropical heat was rising, you could see the misery on peoples faces as...

Nice and peaceful campsite among the rainforest. Suitable for families and a great place to escape the screens... (the wifi doesn't work well and there is limited service on your phone). Staff weren't very helpful , or friendly but the facilities were well kept. Perfect place to stay if you're going to climb Mt. Warning!

Bathrooms smelly like they hadn't been cleaned recently. The will fi at reception didn't work on my phone. Very noisy at New Years because of organised singer, when we were climbing mountain next day so needed our sleep. Location excellent.
