We stayed for 3 nights here over the October long weekend. By the end of the stay, we felt we were leaving a friend's house. Peter and Linda are wonderful hosts, so warm and welcoming. Linda's cooking is faultless and delicious and Peter takes care of your every need. The breakfasts were hearty and Linda's jams and Peter's freshly squeezed...

The hosts were very friendly and accomodating with gluten sensitive breakfast and dinner options. Most of the produce came fresh from the property or local farms. The homestead is beautifully restored with high ceilings, plenty of room, super comfortable and clean. It is not far to the centre of town or spectacular National Parks.

Feathers Home Stay is fabulous. The view was magnificent, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the food and hospitality was 10/10, I only wish we could have stayed longer. Linda and Peter have lovingly restored the Victorian homestead to it's elegant beauty, as well as creating a wildlife haven and making the whole B & B experience...

With friendly and attentive hosts whose attention to detail is above and beyond, I highly recommend Feathers. Immaculately clean room with a lovely ensuite and all the trimmings of a quality hotel. Breakfast on the front porch was memorable with a view across the fields and hills. The breakfast was delicious and incorporated many homemade/grown ingredients. I still can't believe...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Feathers Home Stay is a lovely 120 year old restored wooden house set on 10 acres, overlooking the the Border Ranges. Our guest accommodation is all at the front of the house. There are 2 lovely large queen bed guest rooms both with en suites. Both rooms have French doors that open directly onto the front veranda where you can sit, relax and take in the views, listen and watch the birds and often see kangaroos. We have a guest lounge room with CD player and a selection of books for your perusal. There is also a breakfast/dining room with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and usually a 'little something' home made in the fridge for you to have with you afternoon tea. We offer a wide range of breakfast choices including some Asian breakfasts. We try to make all our food either from our pesticide free garden, including eggs from our hens and ducks, or locally sourced produce. We also are happy to provide dinner given sufficient notice. We hope to see you soon. Best regards Linda & Peter ... more   less
