On a clear blue warm Autumn morning we cruised our Bayliner from the Tea Gardens Jetty, up through Lemon Tree Passage and circled the lakes ending up back at Tea Gardens. Highly recommended and an excellent way to see the Outback.

Well, there are some frills like garbage disposal and toilets (port-a-loos) but the location is why you are there. About 5-10 minutes from the town this is a nice isolated spot with a small beach on the river and a choice of spots in the...More

The staff will visit each campsite daily to collect fees and issue a ticket, usually around mid afternoon. It's $30 per day from this year as well. Just turn up and pick your site, first in best dressed.

They have permanent 'long drop' toilets and during busy periods they also have a number of portaloo's but no showers.
