We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit for 4 nights over the new year period. plus - - the beach is not even a 2 minute walk from the hotel and there is a great kids park across the road. - the hotel staff are really friendly and it seemed to have quite a laid back atmosphere - the pool...

This motel is walking distance to the beach, just up the road. We have stayed here several times. Always receive a very friendly welcome. We stay in a basic room, not real big but has a balcony which is great to sit on in the arvo and have a drink and nibbles. Rooms are always clean, and can't hear too...

We booked the Oceanside for a short Christmas break between Christmas and New Years. We organised a two bedroom apartment and were pleasantly surprised. Our unit was located in the Providence unit block which is a little more worn than some of the other sections of Oceanside. The pool was awesome, very close to the beach and aircon that kept...

We booked and paid online for two nights (Wednesday and Thursday) at $109 a night, expecting a pretty basic 3 star experience. When we arrived we were checked in promptly and given key to our room. Instead of the promised Queen bed, it had a King. The room was very generous in size, with semi-separate sitting area, and spa in...

This was our 3rd stay at Oceanside, although it has been some years in between, I was a little disappointed about the state of the things like the bathroom vanity and cobwebs on the window in the bathroom. The room itself was small, but you aren't suppose to be there all the time, so it was adequate for our weekend...

Peaceful and scenic. Very pleasant village and spectacular beach and offshore islands. Took the ferry across Port Stephens to bustling Nelson Bay for shopping and eating. Amazing tourist activity. Dolphin and whale watching.

Very average room. Very small and tired looking. Can't believe we paid $200 for this. To make it worse than it was - close to restaurant kitchen so noisy till all hours. Not much choice I suppose so they get away with it! Bathroom facilities really need updating

I found this place on the back of a Shop-a-docket and decided to take a short cheap break. We had a ground floor apartment which the overall layout was great however, we had a couple of little visitors from the 8 leg variety (spiders) in the shower and kitchen. The bed had a broken spring and it dug into my...
