As other reviews have said, old, dated but very clean, comfortable and quiet. We were warmly greeted at reception, provided with milk for tea/coffee, yes, in a GLASS fruit juice bottle that was sparkling clean and found our room easily. The motel is out of town so you need to drive the car to go anywhere but the motel offers...

Returning from Victoria to Sydney. Overnight stay in Gundagai. Most motels booked out due to Community event in this town. This motel is aptly named, as the gardens and surrounds are maintained in a very impeccable manner. Very friendly and courteous reception staff. The rooms and bathroom are very small but extremely clean and well maintained. The views from the...

We stayed here for a stopover to Sydney. Situated in a nice location with good views of Gundagai. The room we stayed in looked like it had been done up and it was simple yet clean. Being a very hot day it was nice to walk into a cold room after a long drive from Adelaide. Overall for the price...

We stayed here over night on our way back from Melbourne where we stayed on the way down. Concerned as we booked a supposedly disabled room which wasnt but it was large enough to accomodate my wheelchair. On arriving back there and after booking the same room we found we had been changed to another smaller room which was inappropriate....

Our group of 14 adults & two kids (in our old cars) stayed the night here one week following our previous stay & enjoyed it every bit as much. The accommodation was reasonably priced & comfortable & the meal in the dining room was every bit as good as the one the week prior ... if not better :). The...

Telephone booking was handled by a very pleasant person who made it quick and easy. The motel is about 1km from the centre of town and has beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Its location also means that there is virtually no traffic noise. Parking was directly outside the unit. My room was clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom...

This motel is a favourite of ours when we travel the Hume Highway. Although the rooms are fairly small and somewhat dated, the prices are very reasonable and the welcome is always a friendly one. Best of all is the wonderful dining room which offers traditional country food and wine at a bargain price. It is located in the high...

The rooms and facilities are pretty dated but clean and well maintained and it's an economic, comfortable place to break the journey down the Hume freeway. Service standards are high and the dining room offers a well priced simple dinner which complements the style and standard of the accommodation. Great for a short stop but not what I would want...

Very quiet , comfortable beds, clean and we appreciated the added touch of having the heater turned on for our arrival . Great home cooked meal in restaurant and wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning. Milk in bottle was a great idea and good recycling technique much nicer than those annoying little containers that spill everywhere !
