I had a single room which had a shared bathroom .The room looked like it was recently renovated. It had everything you could want. Everything was clean and tidy. Evn though the Hotel was full I heard...

The staff were friendly, the room was tidy. I only ended up staying the one night due to surgery, but if I had the chance, I'd stay longer. It did get a bit stuffy in the room, though, but it didn't detract from the experience.

The Hotel was in grand older style but very welcoming and clean. Our room was very clean and had comfortable beds, with shared amenities (also very clean and always empty) just down the corridor. We chose a family room for the small balcony but our room (3rd floor) only had a small window box. The bar staff were very welcoming...

Great historic building that provides a comfortable double room with ensuite for the night. Added bonus was the humming dining room providing an excellent meal and good atmosphere. Staff were on the ball, pleasant and helpful. Homemade creme brulee was a delight!

Room was modest but a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. Having the train station across the road was pretty convenient too. The decor of the hotel is charming with lots of old wood and original glass and the dining room did a good job of serving decent food at reasonable prices. It's not a high end hotel but a very...

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was rather old but with handy parking and I particurlarly enjoyed the old style lift . The unit I was in was on the 3rd floor and while it was dated, I found it quite clean and comfortable. We had occasion to have an evening meal there and found it quite nice and...

Staff very friendly and the food at hotel brilliant. Only concern is it its a hot day/night - the room gets very hot and with only a fan on the roof...

Upon arrival, the first thing you will notice about the foyer is that it is at least 10 degrees hotter than outside. As you climb the stairs it becomes abundantly clear that there is absolutely no air flow. However, do not fret, because things are about to get much, much worse. You will open your door to be slapped by...

Don't come here when the temperature is above 20c as there's no air conditioning. Just fans which are noisy. Quaint lift and small rooms. Even the fridge was hot but a big sign says do not switch off...
