First of all the paid WiFi hardly works and there’s not much mobile signal either. There’s a frustrating and unnecessary $10 cutlery deposit from reception which is in another building from the kitchen and either you return it straight away or keep it in your...More
Stayed here over new years. Location is great, a short 15 or so stroll into town so its nice and quiet at night but still close to the madness of Byron.

To get to the beach. That’s all you have to do when you book a room here and want to have a leisurely stroll or a heart-thumping jog along some of the prettiest stretch of sand Australia has to offer.

The beach is just across the street and very calm. Go on the beach and look around. There hardly few people surfing in the sea. The hostel was great and we had a great fun there. Just walk on the streets of the byron bay,...More

Hi, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the various towns and great national parks around the Byron hinterland in your own or even a hire car. The reception has organised trips for purchase to places such as the famous Mullumbimby as a day as well, so you have many choices. In regards to beaches, not much in the way of organised tours as most people simply Byron. Additionally given that directly opposite Byron Beach resort there is the great & generally far less crowded Belongil Beach that would be a great close by option.
