Beautiful grounds in a pleasant location. Comfortable rooms. Unfortunately it looks a little tired and some of the niceties which one expects were not available. Kitchen had no microwave, outdoor security lights didn't work at night, no shampoo or conditioner provided and oven seal is broken so cooking was difficult. BBQ was old style Webber with no hot plate. Croquet...

In March my husband and I were married at Mona Manor House. We had 17 guests come three days early and stay on site with us with it culminating in our wedding day on the Saturday with a further 30 guests. We married in the grand gardens and held our reception over the lake in the old shearing shed. It...

Recently spent a couple of days at the MONA Country Manor House. A very relaxing break from the hectic city lifestyle. The comfy bed and warm fire made for a lovely time. Thanks to Kerrie for her prompt dealing with some aspects of the stay. Apart from the smoke alarm going off in the early hours for no apparent reason,...

Our extended family group of 13 (from 87 to 2½) spent a wonderful June long weekend at Mona. It was the perfect venue for us. We had the run of both the Coach House and the Stables and everyone thought the beautifully furnished accommodation superb. We gathered for meals in the Coach House – the spacious kitchen was great for...

Thank you for your feedback. Mona lends itself very well to generational family groups. Everyone can come together for meals. The active ones can get outdoors and play sport, the inactive can relax inside by the fire in winter, or under the shade of trees in summer. At night the young, and young at heart, can play pool or snooker...

We enjoyed a very quiet and relaxing two night stay in The Coach House. The accomodation was very nice and we particularly enjoyed the bathroom which was large with a great bath. The grounds are good for a walk and we just enjoyed enjoyed pottering around during the day and sitting by the fire in the evening.

The Coachhouse is a lovely solid building. Very quiet. Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Braidwood and enjoy walks in the crisp clean air and reading in a comfy lounge chair in front of a warm and welcoming wood fire. So pleased you enjoyed your stay.

Just had three nights in the Coach House Villa. Autumn is definitely the time of year to visit Braidwood! The colour of the trees, the endless sky and the wood fire in the evening were definite highlights. We somehow fluked the entire Villa to ourselves (2 of us) and felt like we truly were "lords of the manor" (or barons...

So delighted you enjoyed the warm and gentrified atmosphere of the Coachhouse. Yes, beautiful sunsets over the lake are a real treat, and a photographers joy. No you didn't 'fluke" exclusive use of the Coachhouse. We are proud to offer total privacy during your stay, whether you are couple or a group of 8.

Just revisited Mona having been here four years ago. Magnificent - it's one of our favourite places in the world. Upon entering the property you know you have entered another world - a haven. Just a week end and we both felt so relaxed. Beautiful accommodation and we liked just being able to chill, read a book, watch a DVD...

Thank you for your feedback. We love to welcome back return guests. Autumn is a lovely time to "just chill". This year has been especially wonderful. We don't mean to keep the Bathhouse a secret, we just keep it locked for safety reasons. We need 48 hours notice to have it hot and sparkling clean, so we do request that...

A group of us stayed at this elegant rural property in Braidwood and couldn't have been happier with our choice. It is such a delight for us that this guest enjoyed so very many aspects of the property. While Mona has so much to offer, not everyone gets around to experiencing as much as this group did during their stay. Well done. “There are many rooms on site in two different buildings. We filled them all with wedding guests and they were each beautiful and everyone reported a good nights sleep. The coach house has the most spectacular bathrooms!”

“The Mona Lisa room is a bit brighter than the other two and the bathroom is ensuite (the big room's bathroom is across the way). We had a good chance to check out all three rooms and we definitely liked Mona Lisa the best.”

“The Stable is best for families and groups >6. For couples and groups of up to 3 couples the Coach house is definitely worth the extra. There were only two of us and we paid to have exclusive use of the Coach house and although a bit more expensive it is worth it.”

“All the rooms at MONA are unique and have their own luxury bathrooms with all the extras, an eclectic array of antique furniture and styling is designed to suit the individual views and layout within each villa. If you want the ultimate WOW factor & luxury the main bedroom in the Couch house Villa. For memories of childhood and a cosy, quiet time all the spacious rooms in the Stables Villa are fabulous.”

“The two double rooms at either end of the property are good - except the "pink room" is extremely faded by the sun and has a very "worn" look. The other three bedrooms are very average - they contain sleeping arrangedments for three and are quite mis-matched and have no natural night except for a tiny skylight.”
