This was the fourth visit, we had room 6. Clean and tidy and I noticed the updated bedding. We were pretty impressed. bathroom very clean. Sad to see there is no longer a pool. (We had not been here in a few years - ) Lovely manicured lawns around the pond where there are friendly ducks who come right up...

we stayed in the apartment. The apartment was spacious but not good air conditioning. The shower was over the bath. The kitchen was big and had most supplies there. We decided to cook dinner there. The car park was not next to the apartment but only a short walk or you could park infront of reception. We stayed on a...

The Briars Country Lodge is well situated in Bowral on Moss Vale Road. It is a motor lodge and parking is outside the room. The rooms are a bit tired, but comfortable. There are doors which open out to a large lawn area with a pleasant view over a lake (with ducks). The bathroom s adequate and there is air con...

We were there this past weekend for a wedding and it was so beautiful. The lake; the surroundings; the food. Everything was so special. The staff were fantastic, nothing got in their way to make sure you were comfortable and happy. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We stayed here after attending a wedding, so really didn't use the room much, except for sleeping. The layout was good - the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Good design with a luggage space right outside the bathroom. Parking was at the door, and the rooms were quiet with a view towards the pond. A nice outdoor area with...

After frequent visits to the restaurant which never disappointed, we decided to book a room for the night. This place is a quite relaxing retreat that is just what a couple needs every now and again. With everything you need at the resort you can sit back with a glass of wine or a Guinness then just walk to your...

I brought my family for a Sunday lunch to the Briars and went in to order my food only to hear one of the chefs or someone in the kitchen yelling and swearing at the top of their lungs. I had to bring my kids outside just so they wouldn't hear the chef going off! Will never return!

Visited to take in the old world charm and to enjoy an English beer called Old Speckled Hen. Not readily available on tap in New South Wales. Whilst much has been done to the old coaching inn to bring it up to modern standards--big eating area at the back and outdoor drinking and eating area, much of the interior has...

Valentines day surprise was lunch at this historic inn. Everything from the garden tables to the inside of the restaurant of the highest quality. Plenty of menu choices which includes select and cook your own steak if desired. We let the chef prepare ours and it was excellent. Great service combined with a free glass of bubbly for the ladies...

Wonderful stay @ Briars! Rooms spotless and loved the option of blanket or doona! Quiet, peaceful & tranquil setting, friendly staff & easy access. Management went over & above to find a solution to booking hiccup! Many thanks, greatly appreciated & enjoyed by our party. Fantastic!! Would definitely stay again.
