Returning from a south coast holiday we decided to overnight in the Highlands. We arrived at the Briars without a booking and received a warm welcome plus a great mid week deal. Our room was immaculate and well appointed with a comfy kingsize bed. We usually stay at Peppers in Sutton Forest but they were unable to offer us a...

The Briars is well placed when visiting the Southern Highlands. Yes it is in the country, but a short drive to the towns and facilities. The motel rooms are clean. well laid out and all the facilities. They open out to lawns surrounding a lovely lake with ducks etc wandering around. Breakfast was also quite adequate. Nothing this close to...

This place is truly lovely, from the welcoming service to the nice restaurant to the glorious suite, which contained comfy couches, a substantial bed with great linen, a dining table, truly fabulous bathroom with separate toilet, and a private verandah. It also has all the mod cons (WiFi, TV with Foxtel, fridge, iron, hairdryer, etc). The view of the duck...

We were in the area looking at wedding venues and came here for lunch. We had been following Briars on Instagram and were excited to have this experience. Lunch for two adults and three children was very good. The kids loved the creamed potatoes on the salad bar and the macaroni cheese from the menu. The meals were a good...

Stopped in for a drink. Menu has plenty for all and provides a cook your own grill option for fantastic looking steaks. Good atmosphere with plenty of people having lunch. Didnt see the accommodation so not sure what that is like.

One of the best motels I have stayed in. The rooms are quite large with a fantastic outlook over a large pond with lots of ducks. The rooms are clean and well appointed, WiFi works well. If going to the bistro it is advisable to book as staff are not as accommodating as the could be. It is mainly for...

It's a semi casual restaurant. You walk up to order and pay but from then on it's table service. I was tempted with a beef pie while my partner chose the roast pork. Our guests had the roast pork and barramundi. The is a very extensive choice and ours was all very good. A table near us seemed to be...

Set adjacent to the original Cobb & co. Coach House, Briars, the motel has a lovely view over the original flats of the farm which was attached to SCEGGS MossVale, as was Briars part of the same school. The room has a layout that is a pleasant variation on the standard country motel. Clean & bright, with a dining/lounge area...

This place was amazing. Staff were super friendly and the room was huge and very romantic. Great location from Bowral and berrima. Not very vegan friendly. But the pub has a great beer selection and the gardens are lovely with ducks and gazebo
