Briars is beautiful! A short drive from the town centre; it's quiet and peaceful and perfect for a little getaway! Having The Inn on the premises was also fantastic - amazing food, and no one has to drive!

The Briars is managed under two separate leases - one lease covers the motel section and one covers the 'pub' facility. The Pub provides a breakfast service to motel guests. The Pub lease mgt is relative new and have upped the catering to a mixture of buffet and cook your own steaks along with selected a la carte. If you are large in numbers I'd get there early on Friday nights and weekends as its a popular local eating venue.
The motive does a lot of weddings so rooms have irons and boards - cheers
