What a delightful surprise! It was a birthday celebration for my wife, Cynthia, and we spent 2 nights here in pure luxury. The breakfasts were healthy and delicious. Thank you John and Susy. We will be back again! Loved IT!

John and Susy are the most wonderful hosts. They were ever so friendly and we had some wonderful conversations, together with a very enchanting afternoon of piano. Exactly what the doctor and weather called for!! Couldn't ask for anything better in terms of accommodation, meals, high tea and luxury. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to be pampered while... What an enjoyable experience meeting county people with such a rich and varied background whilst serving the Community with astute insight. It is is always a delight to see people explore the lovely Southern Highlands, even in the rain it is still beautiful and enchanting. More

The title says it all - the most incredible B&B. The owners were outstanding and spoiled us with beautiful food & hospitality. They even gave us a bottle of delicious local champage to celebrate our engagement. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you John and Suzy!

What a lovely memory. To see a young couple get engaged in Bowral as a secret surprise with the covert assistance of staff at one of our best restaurants was a thrill to hear and one of the unexpected benefits of managing a B&B. All the very best to both as a couple both deserving each other. John & Susy More

John and Suzy hosted my wife and I at Menabillie Manor at Bowral for 2 nights. We had a large, comfortable well laid out room with a balcony and a spa. John and Suzy are a great couple with a wealth of local knowledge. The High Tea on Saturday afternoon was delightful and the breakfasts were excellent too. The Manor... More

If there were truly a state in which we "could wake up and imagine we were in heaven" then surely God, or his handmaidens/male underlings, have provided it at Menabillie Manor. From the moment of welcoming entry to the sad morning of departure, excellence is on hand at every opportunity, and beyond. John and Susy represent the perfect hosts, have... More

It is seldom you meet such amenable and delightful siblings relax and enjoy a week together in the country. Two lovely retired sisters who supported each other with profound care and understanding. Both witty and fun with much knowledge carefully concealed in their humble stance. We shall not forget our experience and will reminisce when we need to refer to... More

Our two night stay at the Manor was a gift from our daughters and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Hosts "Talkative John" and the delightful Suzy gave us a unique accommodation experience in a huge (the Tulip Room) suite. The accommodations were simply faultless - quiet, warm etc. etc. - all those things you expect for the, for Bowral, very... More

It is always refreshing to see children treat their parents to a holiday experience. It was also an anniversary so it was important that we managed the accommodation with understanding and excellence so that couples like these beautiful people could concentrate on having a good and enjoyable time. The lovely experience was mutual. More

Our family of four stayed at this place we all loved it. The service was amazing, well above what we normally expect, international 5 star service. Breakfast was always on time, perfectly prepared, locally sourced produce, eggs very nice from the chicken coop. Our room was very clean and comfortable, new fittings and excellent heating. We seldom have families stay at the B&B and we were so enriched with the ideal family unit. Understanding and cooperative at all times and we appreciated their help in opening up conversation with other guests as well as sharing their wide experiences with us. A wealth of knowledge and to have seasoned international travelers compliment our establishment is very... More

We stayed the weekend for our 50th Anniversary - just the perfect place. The Tulip Suite is quiet, with wonderful views, and had everything. Breakfasts were wonderful, as were the "extras" at no extra cost. The Saturday afternoon High Tea, with delightful piano music by Susy, was a treat to remember. Well situated for visiting anywhere in the southern highlands... More

Wow. A 50th wedding anniversary at Menabillie and that was what the fairer sex of the partnership wanted for a anniversary present rather than jewelry. We are humbled and thank you for letting us peek into your long relationship of happiness. More

John and Susy are the most courteous and friendly hosts. The Tulip suite was clean and luxurious. The manor is located just a few minutes drive from the main st in Bowral, which makes it a great base for your exploring the Southern Highlands.
