I recently stayed 2 nights at Penmenner House, the Lizard and was sorry to leave! I have stayed here before and will definitely return again! It's the most charming guesthouse, situated within a short walk of the cliffs and stunning coastal paths. The en-suite rooms are lovely, with stunning views of the rocky headlands, and equipped with everything you need...

We stayed one night at the b&b Saturday 2nd April. Warm greeting. The room was clean with lovely views. Woke up to a fabulous and hearty breakfast. The fresh fruit was exceptional. The cooked breakfast large and very tasty. A lot of effort had been taken by Sheila. We set off on the next stage of our walk to Coverack...

My husband and I stayed at the Penmenner guest house in August this year. If I sound just a touch regal well it's appropriate because we were treated like royalty. We were in the Lighthouse suite which was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It had the most glorious views over the peninsula from dual aspect windows. There was a generous...

This is a fabulous old house with such a good feeling about it that we felt instantly at home. Sheila is an amazing lady who not only works full time doing another job but also prepares and cooks a terrific breakfast for her guests before setting out in the morning. She was looking after her delightful grandchildren when we arrived...

Just had three nights at Penmenner House and thoroughly enjoyed Sheila's friendly hospitality. This lovely old Victorian house is just a short walk from the centre of Lizard and enjoys fantastic views. It's very quiet and very restful. There's a large and comfy lounge, interesting decor and off-road parking (rare in some parts of Cornwall). We stayed in the Lighthouse Suite...

Delightful place to stay. Warm and welcoming. Quiet and relaxing. Friendly, trusting and safe. Great breakfast. Excellent choice and plenty of it. Fresh fruit salad every morning different each day. Close to pubs and restaurants in the village. Good place for walkers, wildlife watchers and/or those looking to relax.

We stayed here for a few days last week with our dog. Sheila made us very welcome - lovely big quiet house with a fantastic view and huge delicious breakfast. We stayed in the lighthouse suite which had views over the sea and to the lighthouse. Penmenner house is on the outskirts of Lizard village so we could get to...

Stayed here while walking the South west coast path. The house does have sea views but is actually quite a way back from the sea. The owner works elsewhere so a neighbour let us in. The room was comfortable, average size. Good breakfast and sleep

I was on my own for a late walking holiday. Sheila made me feel very much at home and free to come and go as I choose. The house is beautiful, stunningly decorated, my room was perfect and the breakfast amazing, especially the fresh fruit and delicious coffee. 100pc recommended.

I received a warm welcome to this peaceful and spacious house, next to which runs a footpath to a beautiful cove. It is only a very short walk to the centre of the village so it's ideally placed. My room was pleasant and comfortable, with a lovely view of the sea. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the delicious fresh fruit...
