We stayed at this blissful B&B (more like a small luxury hotel!! without the flunky in a top hat guarding the front door) for only two days. That was the only problem - 2 days - should have been 2 weeks! Its less than 10 mins from the train station and set back off the main road. Our room was...

Me and my partner stayed at Anchorage House for 2 nights and it was an excellent visit, Steve and Jane are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome and comfortable, on arrival we had tea and home made cake, they were interested in talking to us and what we had planned for the weekend, they offered us advice on...

Our stay was planned to visit both the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, both of which required a lot of walking. The success of our holiday was sealed by the wonderful hospitality offered by Steve and Jane. Returning each evening we swam in the heated pool and relaxed in the Hot Tub - restoring our sore feet!...

My partner and I stayed at the Anchorage House for two nights in August (my little treat for his 30th Birthday). Steve and Jane the owners, greeted us on arrival with such a warm welcome, which was followed by tea and cake on the terrace. We stayed in the 'Pleasurable Suite' and it was everything I thought it would be...

Very luxurious and well-kept B&B. Our room was spacious, very clean and well arranged. We had a fantastic and modern bathroom with shower and bathtub. The facilities of the B&B are modern, well-tended and in a quiet surrounding (great sleep). Every day there was a varied and fresh buffet and a delicious choice of cooked meals for breakfast. The hosts...

Stunning is the name of the suite we stayed in on our fourth visit to Anchorage House and it sums up the whole package, the house, the rooms and most importantly Jane and Steve who make it feel as though you are staying with your most loved relatives or your very best friends. Breakfasts are superb whether you opt for...

That's what it says and that's what it is. Our stay at Anchorage House in the Sensational Suite exceeded our expectations. Steve and Jane must deserve a place in the Guiness Book of Records for having the most friends. We were welcomed as 'friends' on our arrival and felt like like 'really good friends' by the time we left. Their...

This was our fourth visit so that says it all!!! Just a fabulous house, gorgeous bedrooms with stunning bathrooms to relax in. However, the secret ingredient is the host and hostess! You feel part of the family and nothing is too much trouble. Don't plan on lunch as the breakfasts are superb and will keep you going all day! Lots...
