Stayed for one night on business in the area. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. Had a very tasty meal in the restaurant and was really pleased to see kippers on the menu for breakfast (a guilty pleasure!) which I have to say were the best kippers I've had!

Stayed one night mid week and would recommend as a hotel in the centre of the town. Easy walk from train station. Staff all helpful and friendly. Room a good size and well maintained. Had evening bar meal which was very good.

I stayed for one night on business. I was given a large two roomed family room and although the amenities were great, the decor and furnishings were a little dated. However, the hotel is ideally placed in the centre of the town with private parking.

Visited this Hotel for dinner on 16th April. $ of us ate there and found staff very helpful and friendly. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Only reservation was no car park but it did not spoil our evening.

We booked a 3 night stay at The White Hart via a Groupon offer. It is an old pub in the centre of St Austell and has a nearby car park which was a bonus. Nicely decorated and comfortable rooms, small but perfectly adequate with a lovely views of the church opposite. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough...

The chicken breast main was a good size and very tasty, as was the steak. The pub is quite cosy inside and on the Tuesday night when we visited was nice and quiet. We had walked past on the previous Saturday when it was very busy and decided we would not get a relaxing meal there that night. The staff...

I think the hotel was lovely. The town was boring and felt u had to drive elsewhere to see anything. We went when the weather was pretty dull so that didn't help. The room was lovely yet very hot I found. I enjoyed the nice big bath though very relaxing. The food was delicious and the staff very nice I...

Was a gift bought for us for Christmas and what a wonderful gift it was. The room was clean and spacious. You get an iron, board and hairdryer and the usual teas and coffees. Breakfast and dinner was included with our gift. There was a great selection on both menus. Also had a Gin menu in the bar which we...

We had a short stay here last week and were lucky to be given a superior room with a large bathroom with double walk-in shower. Both were lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable and six foot wide. All the food was well cooked and tasty and hot. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We were lucky...

My parents stayed in your hotel for a couple of nights this week and they found the hotel very clean and friendly. They were very impressed with the service and the politeness of the staff, especially a man called Jack who helped them with their bags and was very friendly towards them.
