Stayed here for three nights in April. Had a very comfortable room with sea views and use of leisure facilities. The staff were really wonderful particularly the Reception staff and also the Restaurant Manager. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.

We had been intending visiting for some years and had a 3 night stay in late February when the weather was a bit mixed. In short an excellent hotel with amenities to match. Our seaview room on the second floor had everything we needed and a neck pillow provided. The indoor pool and spa were very acceptable but it appears...

If you've been before then you will understand what I have to say. We went for the golf as many people do but would still have appreciated being notified about the wedding, the competitions and the construction across the way. Please qualify your room size before you book it. I had a twin that was so small one had to lay...

Being a local to the Carlyon bay hotel me and my partner come here quite often as it's the one place we can get away from it all. We find it the most relaxing place to be, food is awesome, reasonable prices and the service is absolutely perfect especially by the guys in lounge bar. I for one cannot recommend...

We have visited Carlton Bay Hotel many times, this visit was no exception, rooms very clean, the food and service exceptional. Nothing too much trouble for the staff and management, food and presentation up there with the best. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any one.

Booked for a weekend stay, arrived late evening Friday and was swiftly checked in, Dined in the hotel and found the service and food to be first class. My wife is a Coeliac but this was not a problem with gluten free bread and rolls available as well as most of the dining options. Room was extremely comfortable, well placed...

This really is a lovely hotel in a magnificent setting on the cliffs overlooking the St.Austell Bay. It is perfect for a sightseeing tour of the area including the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. The staff are excellent and the public rooms are spacious. Our evening meal in the "Taste" Restaurant (more casual than the main one)...

We have stayed at the Carlyon Bay several times for short breaks. The hotel is lovely and generally the staff are very friendly. However, this time the service, especially in the restaurant was starting to slip. Staff seemed over worked and tired. Restaurant etiquette was lacking especially when serving and picking up plates. Being reached across with plates is not...
