We stayed for a week at Woodpeckers and it was perfect. My wife & I thought the accommodation, food etc were superb!! Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Woodpeckers to friends (in fact i am doing so right now!), and would love to come back to visit! Jo made us feel very welcome, and there was no problems with my wife being...

We stayed very recently in September 2014 and what wonderful hosts Jo and Rob were. Nothing was too much trouble, Jo has thought of everything! The breakfast was fabulous and we were amazed at all the lovely extra things in our room - biscuits, chocolates, drinks in the fridge. The room was absolutely delightful overlooking the lovely garden, extremely comfortable...

It is hard to put into words just how amazing the Woodpeckers B&B is, and it really made our week long break in Cornwall very special. We stayed in the double room with a king size bed and en suite, but given the quality of both the room and hospitality from Jo we could well have been staying in the...

It is impossible to fault Woodpeckers, everything about this wonderful oasis of peace, calm and beauty is absolute perfection. Our bedroom was immaculate with extremely pretty decoration and a wonderfully comfortable bed; the spacious bathroom/dressing room too, was lovely and the attention to detail throughout was worthy of the most chic boutique hotel! Waking up to a view of the...

We were meet by Jo on arrival who was really friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was fantastic, beautifully decorated - in the corner of the room was shelves...

We stayed here for 2 nights 5th+6th of August. When we were looking for a B+B or Hotel close to Eden Project we looked for one that was within walking distance, at a resonable price. Woodpeckers fits the bill 5*'s on each front. Finding Woodpeckers is best done in daylight, it is not on a main road, or even on...

We have just returned from a week here and had to let everyone know what a brilliant, special place Woodpeckers is. This is all thanks to Jo, who obviously works hard to give everyone who stays a first class time. The house and garden is gorgeous, and our room was luxurious, full of toiletries, if we had forgotten anything, and...

In 40 plus years of staying in hotels, B & Bs etc around the British Isles I have never found anywhere offering such good value for money. My wife and I have only one regret - we were only able to stay here for one night. Accommodation is spotless. Location is peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast is the tops. Welcome tray...

We stayed here for 4 nights last month and it was everything we wanted-and more. We were greeted by Jo and given a great introduction to the property and surrounding area, before being shown to our room. The room was spotless and stocked with everything you could possibly need-snacks, masses of toiletries, drinks and lots of towels to go with...
