Arrived early but got sorted no problem, Shown the lodge we were in and it was gorgeous, bags of room, comfy, everything you need for a self service holiday. Kitchen with all the equipment you would have at home,eg. cooker, dishwasher, washer etc. Brilliant. Three bedrooms were downstairs as you walk in through the front door, main bedroom has private...

Had 3 very enjoyable nights here whilst on local business. Lovely surroundings and very well kept. Staff all seemed friendly and the food that I tried (one in restaurant and two bar meals) were superb. Loved the spa area and wish I'd had the time for a treatment. One and only thing that bugged me was the tv system...a bit...

I stayed here for Business and use this as a base when working in the area. On my last visit I was with some business colleagues and we went into town for a curry. On the way out the door I asked at reception for an extra bed sheet for when I get back as I am a warm sleeper....

We stayed for 2 nights for a mini-break. Hotel is in a great location. We visited the Eden Project & The Lost Gardens of Helligan. Both were 10-15 mins away. Check in was quick and easy. All staff we encountered throughout our stay were friendly and helpful. We stayed the in Gwendolyn Room which was in the main building. It...

A very nice hotel, in which we enjoyed a very nice 2 night stay. Firstly the positives; The rooms are a good size, and the hotel itself is a lovely building away from noisy roads etc. The spa facilities are very nice and we could have spent all day in there. The bar and restaurant are nice and reasonably priced....

Booked 2 nights through Secret Escapes including a 3 course dinner on second night. Very stylish hotel, lovely big bedroom with balcony overlooking grounds, huge comfy bed, bath in room, very comfortable. The public rooms are well decorated and the staff welcoming, we were so comfortable that we stayed in and ordered from the bar menu on our first night,...

We stayed here 2 nights to do the camel trail and the eden project whilst enjoying the spa facilities. Staff were helpful and offered a 15% discount ticket for the eden project when booking through the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern. We ate at the brasserie and had a very pleasant meal. Breakfast was also very tasty. The...

Having researched for places to stay in Cornwall this looked impressive (on paper). However upon arrival we were extremely confused as to where we needed to go, We have a baby so we had to park a fair way from the reception and carry all our belongings to reception to be told the cottage we were staying in was at...

Thank you for your comments. The estate has a gardening programe which never stops...much like the Forth Bridge and is a natural woodland estate of some 43 acres. Our payment policy is no different from other large hotels in the area and a damage deposit quite normal.....the cottage is unique and different to the other 22 Scandinavian style Woodland homes,...

A friend and I had a spa day at the hotel yesterday which was lovely. The treatments were great ( mini massage and indian head massage), we then used the pool, sauna, steam room for the rest of the afternoon as well as having lunch. The staff in the spa were really friendly, great pool maybe a little cool in...

Lovely attentive staff, beautiful grounds, and definitely go to the Spa to treat yourself! I'm not really a girly-girl in that sense but I had the hot stone massage and facial and they were amazing. I'd say plan your trip though as it's quite a quiet area, but I couldn't fault it after a day at the beach the rooms...
