Great to find a traditional, honest pub with no airs or graces. The landlord was very welcoming. A good selection of real ales and great home-cooked food with very sizeable portions! Will definitely return.

My Husband I read mainly food reviews about the pub for food so gave it a try. The cook looked at us like something on her shoe. Thought she was having a bad day so ignored that! Food that cane was awful! Steak like leather!...More

Visited repeatedly during our holiday in Trewellard. Great selection of real ales (that regularly rotate), fantastic home cooked food at great prices and an extremely welcoming staff and locals. Nothing I didn't like, except coming home!
