The Royal Inn I dint want to write a revue, nor pass any positive comments, as I don't want any one to know how fantastic we thought it was, as I don't want any one to stay there so I can make sure we can get a room again and its not full ! Having said that,,,,it nearly always is... More

My wife and I spent 10 nights at the Royal Inn, Par. The Inn is very welcoming, the staff most helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. Some evenings we dined in the restaurant or the bar and the food and service were superb. Our room was very comfortable but room 16 was over the bar and it was... More

We stayed in Par August 2014, we visited this pub a couple of times for dinner, and really enjoyed it. Service was good and food lovely. They had a live band on one night too whihc was good. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

The Royal Inn, Par, Cornwall is located about three miles from the Eden Project and only a short walk from Par railway station. Near the hotel there are bus stops for Fowey and Megavissey. There are 15 bedrooms. Ours was spacious with twin beds and a sofa bed (if needed). Free wifi, safe, tv, radio/cd player. Well decorated, as was... More

It took us awhile to find this hotel as the correct address was not mentioned in our Booking.com confirmation email. The location mentioned should be Par, not St Austell. But once there we were very pleased with the friendly pleasant reception, the comfortable room and the good food. On top of that a nice evening with life music of excellent... More

On Sunday 14 June, we came to stay at The Royal Inn until 20th June. The Royal Inn is situated on the outskirts of the charming villages of Par and Tywardreath and it has a fascinating history. Built in the 19th Century, it was used by travellers and employees of the Great Western Railway. The name originates from a visit of... More

Exceptional value, great location, excellent food, beautiful room, welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Par station is just across the road so visiting places in Cornwall was so easy and reasonably priced. Only a few miles from the Eden project a must for plant lovers. The royal inn has had some of its rooms refurbished and they look so... More

There was a mix up with the availability of a ground floor room when we arrived. This was dealt with by the next day and the staff could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable with all the usual facilities. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. All the staff were helpful but I must... More
