This is the 4th time we have been here. We take my elderly parents every year. We are SO well looked after. Lots to do on the Lizard - lovely little villages, good places to eat, unspoilt beaches - so much nicer than the north coast where all the crowds go! A good base for daily excursions. The cafe at...

My wife and I have had a lovely week staying with Sarah and David. The rooms are beautiful and well serviced. The en-suite bathrooms are super. The breakfasts were delightful and the evening meals were delicious. The house has a lovely happy feel about it, and Sarah and Davoid are such a lovely couple - very friendly and helpful. We...

I need to visit Cornwall about 3 times a year on business, about 3 years ago I chanced upon Caunce Head by accident after looking on line for a B&B on the Lizard. I now return there every opportunity I get. Sarah and David are brilliant hosts, and they cook the most wonderful breakfasts. The rooms are fantastic, the decor...

My wife and I needed a single night's accommodation on The Lizard and found Caunce Head on the interenet. I can only describe our experience as excellent - in fact we were both disappointed that we could not stay longer! The accommodation, food and service were first class and the landlady and her "bounder" of a husband were a delight....

We stayed at Caunce Head for three nights at the end of August and had such a great time - the rooms were delightful, the breakfasts were amazing and the setting was as rural and beautiful as we had hoped for. Sarah and David were welcoming and knowledgable about the local area, gave us tips on where to visit and...

Caunce Head was a wonderful little b&b - nothing was too much trouble for Sarah and David. Breakfast was just great, the fact that there was no set time was ideal for us as routine is not what you want when holidaying! We will definately be returing sometime as the stay was most enjoyable, nothing was too much for the...

I shall return to this delightful small B&B where nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely, old and full of character, with very modern facilities. The breakfasts were fantastic and plentiful shared in a delightful conservatory. The location was quiet and off the beaten track but close to great beaches and superb walking and the owners were very...

After the many miles drive from London to Mullion we arrived late in the evening at Caunce Head to be greeted by Sarah and David and a friendly woof from Polly and Zack (the resident dogs). We stayed in a lovely bright and airy room which has a great ensuite and a very comfy bed! Overall a great place to...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caunce Head. It really is a hidden jewel. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Our mornings talking to Sarah and David at breakfast were lively and the food was delicious. Sarah knows a lot about the area and every one of her recommendations for dinner or for walks was spot on. I look...

“Allegedly the room on the front of the house was stayed in by none less than Sherlock Holmes and mentioned in the original novel by it's author Arthur Conan Doyle.. I am half way through the book eagerly awaiting the reference.”
