My sister and I stayed 2 nights at Halftides Cottage in late April 2013. We loved the location –the scenery was magnificent and we were fortunate to have good weather while we were there. There is a short walk down to the beautiful private beach beside the house, indeed lots of places to go walking right on the doorstep. The...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Susie's B and B. We were attending a wedding in the area. Susie is a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble. The attention to detail in the rooms was superb. She replenished our tea and coffee tray more than once a day. She also provided a 'turn down' service...

My second stay with Susie at Half-Tides. I love the setting - though you may find the narrow bumpy track a little daunting if you're not used to such things! - on the the cliff edge just outside Mullion, with superb views and a private path down to Polurrian Cove. The location is also great, easy access to The Lizard...

I had been on my feet all week at the Cornwall Business Show, emailed Susie in the morning and booked in for dinner, bed and breakfast. Just needed peace and tranquility after a manic week and knew exactly where to stay! One of the most stunning locations in Cornwall. Arriving exhausted, I was greeted with a happy smile from the...

My two nights at Halftides were a wonderful start to my first ever trip to Cornwall. The location is beautiful as is the standard of decoration in the house. Sue was very helpful with recommended routes, places to visit and eat. Although the best food I had was probably her breakfasts ! Highly recommended as a place to stay in...

Just back from our second visit to the cottage this year (following a perfect week in July) and, fortunately, it's only another 7 weeks to wait till the next one. That should say it all really. The location is stunning, the cottage is small but perfectly formed, very well furnished, warm and cozy (even more so with the wood burner...

We only had 2 nights here to explore the area and Susie's home was a wonderful choice. She provided delicious breakfasts and went out of her way to help us enjoy our stay. Her coastal walk suggestion was perfect and just outside the door. The village of Mullion was a pleasant walk in the other direction. The room was nicely decorated,...

We have been to the cottage at Halftides on several occassions and I could spend a lot of time eulogising about it but all I will say is you need to go there, the views are wonderful, you virtually have your own beach 5 min walk (there is no road access) And what can you say about Susie she is...

The weather could have been better but the views couldn't, our bedroom had views over the bay which could literally be seen from the bed just by lifting your head off the pillow! If anything, the weather contributed to the view as we could watch the waves crashing on the rocks from the comfort of our room. Excellent breakfasts served...

The bed and breakfast accommodation offered by Susie was superb. We enjoyed a perfect stay in her beautiful house in a delightful bedroom, with superb views to the sea, and an amazingly comfortable bed. The food was wonderful. The breakfasts were excellent and the cream tea perfect. Susie offered an evening meal if we would like it. This was exceptional....
