The Merrymoor was booked by Mac's Adventures who my DH was using for his latest foray along the South West Coast Path. Set just across the road from the beach it's a very popular spot. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist and shown to our room, which was at the front of the building with a stunning view of...

Me and partner went here for Sunday roast and honestly it was the best roast we have had in a long long time. Had a choice of 3 meats. We both had beef and it was so tender and juicy. The vegetables were perfect all cooked to perfection we enjoyed it very much. The staff were also welcoming and made...

Nice pub with friendly staff but we were in a group, in the corner out of the way and were having a good laugh and the barman asked us to keep the noise down. This was about 8/9pm, there were no families or anyone sat having dinner but apparently we were disturbing the other customers. I don't know about everyone...

Beef and horseradish & cheese and chutney sandwiches with shared cheesy chips plus coffee today. Certainly will not need much for supper now. Excellent food and service and the landlord had time to socialise too.

Having booked a table we were put to somewhere towards the back of the pub as their was a party booked taking the tables at the front. We had to change a drink, a glass of white wine which was not chilled. The food in fairness was good for the price we paid. And no complaints their good generous portions....

Great pub with great choice of food. I had a special of crispy squid , it was delicious. Reasonably priced. Newly refurbished. I love the fact that I can take my dog! Cosy and friendly. Very near to the beach.

Came here whilst visiting sister and brother in law. Lovely atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Had roast beef with all the trimmings. Beef was the tenderest I have had and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. Many thanks

Always visit here when staying in Trenance, short walk down the hill and back up later! Staff always very welcoming and friendly. Very dog friendly. We usually just drink here after a good day out exploring but also ate here for our anniversary this time. Specials on the board are changed regularly and there is also a menu ( not...
