Well, what can I say. This is the 7th year our golf group have travelled here. The facilities are great, the course is in fantastic and the staff are incredible. Nothing is too much hassle and they always go above and beyond. The deals they offer are superb and the food is also first rate. I cannot recommend Bowood highly...

Besides a Cornish flag one could be anywhere. The menu in the bar offered an eclectic variety curry, soup, sandwiches , lamb shanks etc. The nachos were large enough for 2 and alright. However the sandwich was made with old bread and an off the shelf filling. Served with crisps and a wilting salad. Won't be having that again.

Just a short trip "up country" to check out the area. On checking in we were "upgraded" to a quieter room overlooking the golf course, without requesting it or being asked. And this was a late booking, already reduced in price! Excellent service. We had dinner in the restaurant, and it was of a far higher standard than we might...

Once again dropped in for a round of golf. The course was in great nick it has a lot of interesting holes all of them require good course planning and is a fair test for all levels. We have stayed at the hotel in previous visits and have found it to be ideal for golf breaks. Speak the the hotel...

Me and my wife stayed new years weekend and were very pleased with the room provided.it was very spacious and clean and comfortable. We had excellent views overlooking the golf course and surrounding countryside. The staff were very helpful and polite, we turned up very late for breakfast and they still went out of their way to serve us. The...

Whilst I did not stay there, I recently attended my Uncle's 90th party in the evening at Bowood Park Hotel. The staff were really attentive and engaging. My grandson was with us and the staff kept him and all the other children entertained. The carvery was excellent with plenty of choice. The venue was bright and well maintained with a...

We booked this because of the price. We were on a road trip. It looked wonderful and thankfully as soon as we went to the bar (initially a bit intimidating because it was all men) we saw a couple and joined them. We actually had a good night. OK food good company. The food was alright, we had only starters,...

This is a very nice location and I enjoyed my stay over two nights on business. As it was so close to the company I was visiting I was able to play two 9 hole games of golf, so that was a bonus. The rooms are plain and maybe geared up for people on golf breaks. I had no views...

We stopped at the hotel for one night on our way back from Cornwall to Dorset . The setting is lovely and is a couple of miles from the village of Camleford . The village itself is not worth a visit, nowhere to eat and one pub . The hotel is what you would expect when attached to a golf...
