staff very friendly, breakfast good quality but rooms tired, scruffy and ill-lit. Towel rail on floor, one light had no switch, unfinished skirting boards, old sunbleached curtains. sheets and quilt cover were clean but smelt of old frying oil. room was cold. wish i'd known of the new weatherspoons hotel - rooms supposed to be luxurious.

The Lowenac proved to be an excellent choice to have our Carers Club Christmas time meal. Attractive and relaxing décor and attentive and friendly staff gave us expectations of an enjoyable get together. Service was prompt and our meal well presented, nice portions and delicious. It was good to come away feeling that everyone had enjoyed themselves including the Lowenac...

My hubby's works christmas party was held here, as you walk in it seems lovely the first member of staff we spoke to was very polite and helpful. (he was the barman in the top bar). We sat at the tables where it would have been easier to feed the person sat next to me than myself, as there was...

Eaten at The Lowenac twice now in December & what a lovely meal on both occasions. The first was a sit down & the second a carvery. The carvery was a amazing. Fresh meat, vegetables and such tasty gravy. One of the best carvery I have had, plus I had seconds! Spoke to the chef as it was so good!!

An hotel - and far nicer than expected from the website pictures. Very large comfortable room and ultra friendly staff, who also looked after our 6 year old daughter really well. Camborne is not remarkable in itself - but is very central to lots of other places to visit. Would recommend it to anyone and eeryone.

I attended my wife's Christmas works meal. We have been here a few times with mixed results. I had heard that new things were happening so was looking forward to it. The outside is lovely as is the reception area. Plenty of parking is a bonus. The function room is big if not a little dated. Was a little surprised...

We went for lunch on boxing day and the food was fantastic. I had the vegetable soup for starter wich was lovely and the bread rolls were really soft. We then had the traditional christmas dinner. The portion sizes were great. Compliments to the chef. I would happily take freinds and family here and would highly recommend to others.

I had Christmas lunch at Lowenac with my husband and his elderly parents. Having been a couple of years previously, we were expecting great things. How wrong we were! We were welcomed by Martin, the owner, in a very welcoming manner, then given a glass of mulled wine. We were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken....

This was a excellant and well put together event making sure that our local Veterans of all ages had a truly lovely complimentary meal. With entertainment provided and brilliant work by the owners, manager, cook and staff it meant the world to a lot of people. Thank you so very much for putting this event together.

Disgusting xmas lunch. Unable to identify the soup. The menu stated stuffed mushrooms, I was given 1 mushroom on a plate. Child size portions. 1 sprout, 2 small roast potatoes, 1/2 a parsnip, and luke warm. Booked for 01.30pm main course arrived at 02.50pm. Inedible. Many other customers were queuing up to complain. This experience completely ruined our day. Well done...
