We recently stayed at Berrio Mill in Gwenyn Cottage which was a very nice 2 bed-roomed property with all the amenities that you could possibly want, the wood burner was great and made us all feel very cosy of an evening. The owners Ivan & Carolyn made us feel very welcome and allowed us to get in with the Pigs...

Thank you for your kind words. We really enjoyed having you and your family here. The chickens and pigs say hi and have told me off for taking so long to respond to your message. I'm not very quick with my admin. We look forward to your return hopefully in the not too distant future.

We wanted peace, quiet and a beautiful location - with some fly fishing nearby - and Berrio Mill ticked all the boxes. We had Melyn Cottage, the one bedroomed cottage, which was very good value, charming and very comfortable with everything we needed including a log burner for cooler evenings. Our hosts were happy to provide as many logs as...

It was amazing, the accommodation was fabulous! The facilities were brilliant, the hosts were lovely and it was very clean. There is lots to do near by like the monkey sanctuary, harbors, beaches, shops, there's a supermarket for your food needs. There is also the uk's longest zip wire very close by which is an amazing opportunity! I loved every...

Berrio mill was fabulous! The hosts were excellent and nothing seemed to be a problem, so welcoming and happy for myself and my husband to explore their farm and grounds - which were perfect! A highlight of the holiday was sitting in the sun on the riverbank watching the wildlife and river just pass us by!!! The pigs were a...

We recently had a week in Mellyn cottage. It was delightful - little stream right by the back patio, the river only a short walk away, all the Spring flowers out, pigs and chooks in a paddock nearby. Ivan and Carolyn were very helpful - and they make the best jams, marmalades and mustards. Just beware the Beast of Bodmin...

We had a great time at Berrio Mill and Ivan and Carolyn were the perfect hosts. The family cottage (Gwenyn) was very comfortable, very tastefully furnished and perfect for all of our needs. I went fishing on the River Lynher and really enjoyed the peace and quiet - I saw a water vole and a pair of cormorants. Ivan and...

This has been our second holiday staying at Gwenyn Cottage and it will not be our last. Our two children had a wonderful time feeding the pigs and chickens thanks to the kindness of Ivan and Carolyn. The cottages are situated in a wonderfully peaceful location within such close proximity to beautiful country walks. The river is the only sound...

We enjoyed a wonderful week long stay at these cottages with our two young children. You could not ask for a more peaceful and pleasant working farm stay. Super setting overlooking a bubbling stream and fields with two pigs and lots of hens! Very friendly hosts who produce wonderful farm produce themselves (mustard, chutney, honey, jams, eggs) and provide useful...

My wife and I stayed in the Melyn Cottage for a short stay. In my opinion this truly is 5 star accommodation, the rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the mod cons you need. There is a log burner, but we didn’t need to use it as the central heating was enough to keep the cottage warm. The view...

Berrio has got to be our greatest find in the UK. There aren't many places that you can catch, cook and eat a sea trout all in the space of 15 minutes. Ivan and Carolyn are excellent hosts who are understandably proud of and enjoy sharing their beautiful environment. The fresh produce from Berrio itself and the meat from the...
