We stayed and dined for 2 nights 17/10/14. Nice room and absolutely spotless. Neither of us eat meat, but there was still plenty of variety for the 2 evenings we ate in the restaurant. The food was very well prepared and presented, and thoroughly enjoyable. All breakfast items were individually prepared and presented, far superior to the buffet offerings from...

We stayed here for one night and it was really nice and in beautiful surroundings. The floorboards above us were a bit squeaky and loud and we could here people above but suppose that's expected in an old building. The breakfast was amazing with lovely views over the river, we didn't eat there in the evening as the meals were...

We spent one night at The Riverside Hotel in Boscastle and would highly recommend this place to anyone. The location is excellent and the sound of the river babbling past the hotel at night time is very relaxing. The staff here made us feel very welcome and we really couldn't find fault. The food is is exceptional and we adored...

This was our overnight stop after 17 miles walking from Bude along the SWCP on a very sunny September day. We had room 1 which was very spacious, with a large bed and a bath (all important after a log day's walking). The staff were courteous, and the breakfast was very good. Certainly a place that merits another visit -...

My wife and I booked for one night as part of a short break and tried to book a second night on the strength of how much we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately it was fully booked and I'm not surprised. The room was delightful, spacious, clean and airy, with lots of light from three sides. The staff were courteous and...

Sat in the garden for lunch which was comfortable and sheltered. Good choice on the menu and very reasonably priced. Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Service good too. They also offer all day breakfasts. Garden not visible from front, but if you walk further on to the bridge you will have a view of the garden - although entrance...

We popped in for a drink after a few miles walking on the coast. Walked in had menus shoved upon us, assumed we wanted food. Thinking we would be polite and eat we went to order a drink and a light bite, sitting outside walked over the bridge to bar, didn't get our table number the barman refused to take...

Character hotel in excellent position - just spent 2 nights here. Excellent value for money - room very good. Staff very friendly. Only problem - guests walking around in room above sounded like a herd of elephants and noise very early in morning and later at night made it difficult to sleep properly. As property listed, not much can be...
