This was not a pleasant stay. Was only for one night thankfully but the room was old, dated and a bit grotty. Carpet looked worn and old. Bathroom was not nice. The soap dispenser wasn’t working so I took the cover off and it was revolting under the cover!! Filthy. The soap smelt cheap and nasty. Usually you know what you’re getting with a Travelodge - decent, basic rooms but generally clean and modern. This room did not deliver on the clean and modern front. Front desk staff were lovely.

I was greeted by Maya, who was very personable and went over and above expectations. She was very friendly and accommodating - just what you want from a place of accommodation! Thank you Maya for your help and care.

This is a typical Travelodge, with large rooms and no restaurant on site. (There's a vending machine for snacks, and Budgens/Shell store is about 10 minutes walk away). It's very quiet, which was accentuated by none of the car park lights working. There was also a leak behind the toilet, and the hot water wasn't so hot as sometimes, but these were minor quibbles for the very good price for which I paid. The bed was comfy enough; the coffee included decaf sachets; the room was clean; the towels were good.

Very reasonable price of £25 for a night stay. Clean room, very comfy bed, everything worked. Basic but everything you need for an overnight stop. Friendly staff. Would recommend as easy access from M4, parking good and easy access to hotel.

Helpful and polite staff. Very clean and comfortable room, especially for the price we paid for. Even got to choose our room on arrival. Easy check-in and check out. Location is good, quiet with free parking.
