Stayed here for two nights visiting family, staff were welcoming and friendly and happy to help with anything we needed such as extra teabags and the use of a hairdryer. Good location too, close to the M1.

Stayed for two nights with my daughter. Room was clean and smelt fresh and clean. Desk staff friendly and helpful, no problem in giving extra tea bags and coffee for the room. Towels were changed daily. Definitely would stay again if I go to Barnsley.

I stayed at the hotel for an extended period while I was waiting for my new property to become available and the staff could not have done more to make both me and my dog feel welcome. They definitely went over and above what I would have expected for a 2 star hotel. The bed was comfy and the room clean and if I needed anything replaced they would happily help. They were also great with my dog which made a big difference to me. If you do have a dog there are great places to walk them within 3 minutes of the hotel which was a real bonus for both of us. I had previously stayed at a 4 star Hotel and honestly I felt more valued as a customer staying in the travelodge. I would definitely recommend it.
