I moved here from another hotel. What a difference! The hotel was wonderful on so many levels. I was allocated a very large spacious room. This was leaned to a high standard. it was a cold night, yet the room was lovely and warm. The hotel offered a good quality breakfast included in the price. The staff were very friendly...

This was my second stay at Alma Lodge for an annual party with friends. My room was lovely with a large bathroom, luxury for me on my own! The evening food as part of the party was great. Large servings and very hot. Breakfast was also good with a nice buffet. Will be back again in December 2017!!

Great place to stay. Lovely room, spotlessly clean, good size with everything you would want such as hairdryer, iron, shower gel, shampoo etc. very quiet all night. Delicious breakfast with cereals, croissant, toast, full English, fruit juice, tea, coffee etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good position for Stockport Plaza Theatre.

It's not very much fun here... especially in a single room. Things work, but just. Food was quite nice, but the bar reminded me of an old people's home, albeit a posh one. The pics say it all I think!

Nice and clean rooms , very friendly staff , lovely breakfast. Only negative was at about 5.00am when I guess heating comes on there was a lot of creaking cracking noises coming from pipe work for about half hour or so. Room 27.

I would only suggest you avoid this hotel. It's very dated and smells musty. The room I had was like something out of faulty towers that had been furnished using steptoe and sons yard! The there was no hot water 2 out of my 3 nights I stayed and I was only there that long because I booked a 4...

I organised a charity event in the one of the function rooms on 11th February. The event staff Zoe and Clair were fantastic. No query or question seemed too much and every attention to detail was made possible. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The food was amazing and great value too. We also had a dance floor...
