It was just an overnight stay for a party of 3 but it was lovely. Great price. Th staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a TV and left little coffee, tea, milk and sugar pouches with a kettle and cups. Everything was clean and comfy. Would stay here again if I needed a hotel. Only downfall is it's... More

The hotel was booked for us as part of a coach trip and to be honest after reading previous reviews we were not looking forward to the stay. However we were pleasantly surprised. Yes the hotel is looking a little tired and has lots of creaky floors and an outdated lift but it is after all an old building. The... More

They don't do airport transfer you have to drive to a sister hotel 25 mins away. Asked for shuttle time told a time got there 25mins before hand... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with Caledonian Travel. Hotel seems to be popular with contract workers and indeed reception/ public areas resembled a working men's club with guys sitting in paint splattered working clothes etc!!! Perhaps management should introduce a "dress code". Bedroom was quite small with out-dated furniture but at television worked.Jenny's restaurant is in desperate need of a... More

Just an overnight stay with evening meal and breakfast. Room was clean and tidy with a bath/shower which was adequate. We were on the first floor which was served by an ancient "lift"which could just accommodate two people. The evening meal was a pretty bland buffet just a little warmer than the very chilly dining room. Breakfast was also buffet,not... More

We stayed overnight whilst on a coach trip and read reviews with a sinking heart😁. The bedroom was OK, clean bedding with extra pillows and a hair drier. Comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was basic but modern, could have done with a shelf near the wash basin to put toiletries. The queue at the bar was ridiculous... More
