I never take much notice of reviews but really wish on this occasion I had taken note of all the reviews because they were all spot on! The cleanliness of the hotel was more than below standard - there aren't any standards. We weren't expecting £300 worth of a room for £70 so we were realistic about what we would...

Only giving it a 3 as bar and food ok, room is definitely only a 1, shabby furniture in a box room, but for a overnight stay the Britannia is fair, staff good and helpful, car park is a good size at rear of hotel.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night at short notice without checking any reviews beforehand. I must say, if I had read the reviews, I probably wouldn't have booked it so i'm glad I didn't because it wasn't that bad. Yes the building does look tired inside and out with double glazing misted up, white paintwork in the rooms...

I arrived at about 16:00. The reception was empty. There was no one to be seen; staff or customers, and no button to ring. Then a woman came out with a cup of tea, saying she had been rushed off her feet (-with who, I wanted to ask!). She checked me in. I asked about the restaurant and she said...

One socket in the room so ok if you have time travelled in from the 70's. Went for dinner and they have no options for children. After a long wait they eventually agreed to make some food that kids would like. Rooms were over heated and extremely out dated. On a positive I thought the staff were very good but...

Facilities were poor. Staff indifferent. Decor very old fashioned. Needs a good clean. Buffet lunch ok on 2 occasions but the last day was dire. Very little edible food. Dry sandwiches. Room size ok. I think this hotel needs a good overall.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room absolutely stunk of cigarette stale smoke, the so called manager was not in the slightest bit interested in the situation, he offered one free drink in the bar! Which was offered through a member of staff, when I insisted on seeing the manager, it took him an hour...

Similar to my title if you are expecting a 5 star all inclusive sunbed filled beautiful hotel then I think you need to keep searching. What you will get however is for its price a hotel which is very homely with plenty of comfy leather sofas where you can enjoy present evenings and a basic but ok room. I can't...
