Haha thanks Luke! Wonder if this is because we asked you to leave? If we were so bad why did you stay 12 months? And why are your friends still staying 12 months on?

I would have given this a 5-star rating but for the following: 1. The smell of cigarette smoke in the communal areas. 2. Dirty bedding and linen strewn all over the carpets and seating in the communal areas. 3. At night, the lights in the communal areas are not always turned on and do not come on automatically. One has to fumble around in the dark to find the light switches. This could be a serious health and safety issue. Notwithstanding the above, I would not hesitate to stay at Henry's again.

Thank you for your interesting feedback. 1. In relation to the smell of cigarette smoke in communal areas we would have been obliged to have been notified of this as we operate a strict no smoking policy and anyone found to be smoking would have been asked to leave the premises immediately. 2. All our guests arrive Monday and leave Friday and therefore dirty bedding is not removed from rooms until Friday when it is bagged and collected by our laundry collection service. We are at a loss therefore as to how dirty laundry and bedding could have been strewn all over the communal areas other than on the Friday when it is put outside the bedrooms to be collected and bagged up by 10.00 am that morning and taken off site. 3. We take on board what you say about lighting in the hallways and shall be putting up a notice asking that the lights do not get turned off by guests as is known to happen on occasions.

very welcoming, quite clean, beds very clean but a little hard ( but we are elderly). Stairs a bit much but I should have stated ground floor. Parking good. The hotel is on the A6 and therefore quite noisy even through double glazing. No food provided as kitchen not in operation at moment although there is a microwave, fridge and plates/cutlery. good convenient position.

Stayed several weeks while in Stockport to visit family .. Convenient to everything and places which I needed .Nice big room good decor ..Good sized wardrobe ,needed as lots of good shopping nearby .. High St and good op shops .. £ 13.50 weekly bus pass for all the bus rides anywhere in Manchester . Bus stops at door and goes very often to Stockport and Manchester ..A more defined space in communal fridge would be good ..Overall Henrys very good value and recommend ..

Excellent as it has been these last six years. Looking forward to our next visit at Henry's next December for our Christmas shopping. Excellent service and value for money. Also it is close to rail station, bus station airport and good shopping centres.
