Avoid room 201 ,you get a early morning wake up call with noisy heating ,which sounds like a pneumatic drill. Such a shame ,as such a friendly place... In great location for train to Manchester. Breakfast included was basic but you could upgrade ...

This is good value for what it is and it's in a good location for Stockport. Rooms are OK, well stocked out and clean. The whole place feels a bit tired and old fashioned and is crying out to be renovated or redecorated at least. The free continental breakfast is very basic and unexciting. Hotel has a Toby Carvery attached...

Stayed here before we flew if for our 2 weeks holiday to the Dominican Republic. Check in was informative and quick. Room was a good size, could have done with a high level duster to remove cob webs and the shower cubical was mouldy in the corners. A good scrub would have removed this. The weather was cold and the...

We stayed in the family room whilst visiting from Canada. The room was clean, bed adequate with nice sheets. Bathroom clean with lovely soft towels. The room was up 2 flights of stairs but no issue even with a toddler. Staff are so friendly and helpful and helped us with carrying up the luggage. Breakfast was lovely we had full...

Friendly chap at bar told us how to find room but no help offered with luggage up 2 flights stairs. Stairs very odd smell almost like smoke and lime. Nice big room but a bit tired. Parts could do with an upgrade or and good clean but only stayed one night which was adequate. Basic breakfast hardly continental but perfectly...

We were welcomed to the hotel by a very friendly team in the bar and that set the trend for our stay. Our room was a good size even with the sofa bed down for our daughter and the beds were very comfortable. At breakfast we chose to eat from the all you can eat buffet and the food was...

Pretty quick check-in at the bar this evening. Rooms a bit noisy (pipes, heating etc) but otherwise pretty comfortable. Bed reasonably comfy. Bathroom ok, clean and functional. TCMF and decent TV in room too. Summary: good value @ £54 Inc breakfast, comfy but noisy room.

With a group of friends following a running race. Easy to book and friendly staff on arrival. Room was very nice and comfortable. Only issue was with shower, took a long time to warm up and when it eventually did it was a dribble. Was still a nice stay and would recommend it.

We only stayed one night and had a good, clean room on the second floor. The restaurant was closing at 7pm for a refurbishment of the kitchens but we managed to get a table for 6 even though it was exceptionally busy. We all settled for the carvery as there wasn't much else. Very expensive and disappointing with tough meat, tasteless...

This Innkeepers Lodge provided This Innkeepers Lodge is good value for money. Up in the Manchester region for work purposes near the beginning of Feb 16, took the opportunity of making a whole weekend of it, with husband and elderly mother too. We used it as a base to visit one or two relatives in the area. Can't complain for...
