Stayed overnight in Travelodge Stockport, location is close to the town centre and links into central Manchester. Staff are great, and friendly. Breakfast is ok but there are other places locally that offer breakfasts. Overall a good basic hotel that provides good basic accommodation.
i was able to stay at the hotel detailed above with excellent customer service throughout my stay. If i needed additional assistance it was received by the manager and Marie and Angela respectively!!. When i needed printing this was provided and not on one occasion this demonstrates exceeding expectations. If i had any queries on my stay Marie and Angela respectively were always quick to give an answer or quick to point me in the right direction of who to enquire from. If it was a sensitive matter they couldn’t directly answer they always made me aware of when i could ask the Manager. I left happy with the service and i will definitely be using this hotel often in the foreseeable future. Thank you Travelodge Stockport
There is literally 6/7 parking spaces for 300 rooms - staff didn’t seem bothered by the complaint of lack of parking as it seemed to be all they heard about. Told us to park in a near by council hotel which doesn’t work if you she’s small family with a lot of luggage. toilet didn’t flush great, had to try 3/4 times before it worked Hotel smelt of weed all weekend, police finally turned up Sunday morning and arrested people. One flat pillow per person meant no sleep. Great hotel if your on the drink all weekend with your friends, not so great if you have children
Steer clear. Rooms not that clean. Corridors mucky . One lift not working at all during the evening, the other didn’t work on all floors . Can’t get a drink in the bar if not eating there. (Appreciate COVID issues but pubs are open indoors now so seemed strange) Vending machine empty of most drinks - no water left. Travelodge is basic and that’s fine but this is one of the poor ones
