We had a great meeting and meal here, served by Ryan and cooked by Sean. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast miranda was the morning lady I believe. Brilliant team. Will be definitely returning for our next meeting.
A visit to Meadow Farm to celebrate a birthday was most enjoyable! Good selection of food on the menu.. but we opted for the cod & chips and gammon & chips! Sean the chef cooked gammon to perfection & the cod was huge!! We really enjoyed it. After the meal my friend wanted a coffee but the machine had broken so our super friendly server Nadine offered an instant coffee instead! It was greatly appreciated! Will be returning very soon!
Absolutely brilliant stay, my room had been made up by Shell as stated on the card in room. Spotlessly clean with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was scrumptious, I asked the lovely lady serving, Miranda who this fantastic chef was, she told me his name was Shaun & she would pass on my feedback to him. Evening meal was just as incredible, served by Isabella who was very friendly. Ryan was on the bar who I've met before on previous visits, always full of charm and a big smile. See you guys again very soon!
Great service, wonderful staff, this place is amazing. Our room was made up by Shell, who we met in the corridor and was extremely polite and friendly. Great service in the restaurant by isabella nothing was to much. Food prepared by Sean was excellent to say the least. Not forgetting Ryan, who was very knowledgeable behind the bar. Looking forward to another great breakfast tomorrow with Miranda. 😁
Nice rural location and outlook, we stayed in the old barn conversion with beams and the room and facilities were comfortable albeit basic. I would say the standard is similar to a Travelodge. Narrow stairs and doorways. Detached from the pub and a 1 minute walk. Pleasant stay and good value.
Had a meal in the pub today. Had the Gammon Steak and it was amazing. Really nice food. Good egg too and very fresh. Was served by Wendi on the till and was very kind. Sammy delivered the food and service was happy and polite with a smile. For desert I had a Toffiee waffle. Was served this by Kaya and it was amazing. Again polite with a great smile. Chefs did very good. The two Pete’s was quick and very well cooked on the food. Loverly visit thanks team. Well done and keep up the hard work.
We ordered the scampi which stated 12 pieces . We got 9 and 10 told the waitress and was basically laughed at . It’s a con The whole experience was not as good as we have experienced before . I would have thought that places would give better service in these times .
Went to meadow farm had a great visit with family and friends staff were very friendly and made our visit special big thank you to a lady called Wendy who throughout visit was very helpful and very informative
amazing service will definitely be returning, our stay was lovely and the staff where absolutely amazing! i would highly recommend the location is accessible with lots of things to do near by. breakfast was great over at the restaurant where the service was amazing and food was lovely!!!
Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding at a nearby venue. Hotel and it's features are standard, no complaints there and 2 very quiet nights stay. WiFi can be spotty, I was originally in room 203 and there was no WiFi availability beyond the door on both of my devices (I asked to move rooms and they were happy to accommodate). Breakfast was also decent for the price with plenty of choice. The thing that lets the experience down is the customer service, or lack of. Firstly, I emailed a few weeks prior to my stay to amend my original booking, and tried calling and got no response. My amendments weren't picked up at all by the time my stay came so I didn't push them, they weren't major. I arrived on the Thursday at 4/4.30pm, well after check in time, and there was no one on reception in the hotel. I rang the number that's stated and no one answered. I walked over to the pub bar to enquire and was told they were waiting for someone to arrive to sort check ins, and whether I could wait (the answer was no - I was there for wedding preparations over at the venue for the Friday and needed to check myself in so I was available for the Bride and her family). Why is no one on reception at all times? Especially when the phone number given doesn't even get answered. Eventually it was one of the off duty Chefs (very friendly!) that had to come check myself and others in. I never saw anyone manning the front desk of that hotel for my entire 2 night stay, even at midnight despite a notice saying there is a night porter available 11pm-7am. Very odd set up and I don't know what guests are supposed to do if there is a problem. Aside from that the stay was average, and it is an affordable hotel near a couple of wedding venues.…
