Stayed for one night for a business trip. In the main, all as expected, but when I went to bed I noticed the fan/air-con was continuing to sound even after I turned the lights out. I waited for it to go off automatically but an hour later it was still going. I thought it might have the effect of white noise and help me sleep, but it was just too loud. Fiddling around with the air-con control made no difference and the instruction leaflet made no sense. Eventually I googled to see if other Premier Inn guests had had the same problem, and of course they had! In a Premier Inn in Edinburgh, a guest had been tipped off by a cleaner to turn the fan off with a switch above the door in the bathroom. However, there was no such switch at Redditch North! Eventually, I opened the fuse box above the main door in the room. The switch for the air-con did not solve it, but the switch for the lights did! I turned it back on in the morning so the lights would work. The fan started again straight away. Premier Inn - after researching other reviews, this is clearly a national problem. Sort it out or at least help your guests by warning them about it on arrival and telling them how to stop it so they can sleep!…
This was our second stay at the Redditch Premier Inn and it will not be our last. The room in the Premier inn Plus is well worth the extra money with coffee making machine ,fridge and lovely toiletries . The breakfast was as expected very good and as much as you need and the selection and quality 1st class. Special mention to Rachel and the colleagues who are so friendly and helpful.
This was our first stay at this Hotel and we were most impressed from the warm welcome we received from Emma in reception through to our evening meals in the Beefeater ajoined to the Hotel where we met Cara who made our evening with her warm welcome and great sence of humour .Thank you all for a great stay.Rose and Pete x
Very easily accessible from the motorway. First impressions were very good and the receptionist was extremely helpful and booked a taxi for later. The room and bed linen were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Individually heated rooms was a bonus as they are sometimes quite hot. Being able to book a breakfast slot for the Beefeater which was 10 metres away was great and excellent value. A combination of English cooked and continental. We had a great two night stay and will certainly use Premier Inn again.
The ladies in reception couldn’t be more helpful and obliging. They helped to make our 3 night stay very relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms were up to the very high standard one would expect from Premier Inn. Very comfortable, quiet and clean. Always a pleasure to stay at Premier Inn.
This hotel was very overpriced for what it was. The room was too hot. The staff on arrival was not the most welcoming. There was constant loud noise next to our room which sounded like a large generator.
Wanted a comfortable quiet relaxing stopover on our way to our main holiday. Loved the extras you get in Premier Plus, especially the Nespresso machine and pods. We both gave mobility problems but our 2nd floor room was very very quiet and with the lift was no problem for us to access. I have spinal nerve problems but the Hypnos mattress was heaven - i shall but myself one for home now. Staff were lovely too and meal deal well worth it. I would stay longer at this hotel in the future, when exploring this area.
We stayed here with two other couples as part of a team attending an event nearby. We chose Premier Plus rooms as we would spend a reasonable amount of time in the rooms during our 3 days. The addition of a small fridge and wifi was therefore welcome. The air-conditioning is good, but we would prefer the windows to open too, as fresh air is better than air-con, especially when the rooms always seemed to be very warm. The rooms were starting to look a bit tired, with fixturing seeming to be missing in at least one place in our room, and some noise from air fresheners in the corridor outside. The beds were also not great - a super-king size would better suit the Premier Plus rooms. All in all, an average venue - not great, but serves its purpose.
Not a good place Unkempt grounds Hotel needs deep clean and a complete makeover. Very disappointed , would never book again at premier inn . Given assessable room , ridiculous , as my partner is six foot three inches .
Excellent hotel. Parking - free parking available. Location - we stopped here after visiting cadburys world (10 minute drive). Located in Redditch. Hotel - excellent size room (stopped with a 5year old and toddler). Cot and single bed made up for the children. Tea and coffee available in the room. Food - no restaurant within the hotel itself. The restaurant is located next door which is a beefeater (see separate review). However the evening meal and breakfast where excellent.
