Had a nice two night stay here, a little expensive for what it is but couldn't moan about the quality. Used the spa facilities and outdoor hot tub which was a nice surprise although it wasn't very warm. Staff are very friendly and polite offering assistance whenever they possibly can. On the whole it's well worth a visit if you...

We had originally booked the Murdery Mystery Night last year but due to unforeseen circumstances the Hotel had to cancel the event. Michaela (Events Team) spoke with us and we had the choice of a stay in the hotel anyway or re-booking. As this was a gift for my husbands birthday and we were attending with my parents, we really...

It is a nice hotel, but it's a bit old, in my opinion rooms could be improved, we were in a executive room but I can say was standard as the toilet was very old, and with very cheap staff. Treatments in the spa were nice, but they really need to clean the jacuzzi. I think that if they put...

This is a Hotel that I used for business recently. I stayed here around 25 years ago and not much has changed in that time. Guaranteed the Hotel is clean, however it is a bit dated to say the least. If you are looking for modern and flash, this is not the Hotel for you. The staff are friendly, the...

What a pure delight and very pleasant surprise! Haven't been here for years but went last Sunday for lunch with friends, one of whom was celebrating his birthday. We had a voucher from the local paper to enjoy either a free starter or dessert. Everything was perfection....and I'm the first to be critical and complain, believe me! BUT praise, where...

We visited for Sunday lunch for 2. Had real issues booking over the phone in the first place. Took 4 separate phone calls and being put on hold each time before we managed to get a booking. Kept being told reception was busy and put on hold but thought they could have taken number and called us back rather than...

We stopped here for 3 nights whilst in the area and whilst the service was very good, and the staff are all very chirpy and helpful there are a lot of problems within, we had a standard double room which was like something out the the 70's, there is no light when you first enter the room so you have...

Came for the weekend murder mystery. Murder mystery event itself was good, hotel was average but could have been better. Arrived late afternoon. Room is hard to locate due to weirdly located rooms but that wasn't an issue; the leaking sink was though. Filled sink up and within minutes was draining onto the bathroom floor. Told maintenance but they didn't...

We had a very pleasant (and quiet) afternoon tea at the Southcrest Manor Hotel. One of our party had the savoury afternoon tea while the others had the royal and we were all very satisfied. However, the bread used for the sandwiches was dry, and the eton mess had barely any meringue, so the afternoon teas were not perfect. A...
